Sanjay Dutt and Maanayata Dutt were reportedly introduced to each other by producer, Nitin Manmohan in 2006. After making their first appearance as a couple in 2007, Sanjay and Maanayata had tied the knot in 2008, despite the objections from the Dutt sisters and an age gap of 19 years. In 2010, the couple was blessed with twins, whom they have named Iqra and Shahraan.
Maanayata has proved herself to be a strong woman as she has raised her family despite all the controversies knocking frequently at their door. On July 22, 2021, Maanayata Dutt had turned a year older and her husband, Sanjay Dutt, had called her the ‘backbone’ of the family. Sharing a video, he had written, “You are the backbone of our family and the light of my life. Words fail to express all that you mean to me but you know it all too well. Thank you for always being there and being you. Happy Birthday Mom! @maanayata.”

Maanayata Dutt’s family and friends organised a huge birthday bash for her and the gorgeous lady shared a series of pictures and videos from the same. While her house was decorated with gold and white balloons, golden foil balloons reading ‘43’ and colourful foil balloons with ‘Happy Birthday’ written on them. The living room of her house was filled with cakes and flowers. In the pictures, Maanayata can be seen cutting her birthday cakes with her kids, Iqra and Shahraan.
Sanjay Dutt and Maanayata Dutt had completed 13 years of married life on February 11, 2021, and to celebrate the same, the actor had posted a twinning picture with his wife. While Sanjay was seen wearing a black kurta pyjama, his wife, Maanayata had opted for a black saree with a golden border on it. Sharing the picture, Sanjay had written, “11.02.2008 Loved you then. Love you even more now @maanayata Happy anniversary.”

On the other hand, Maanayata Dutt had shared a picture with Sanjay Dutt from a mata ki chowki to celebrate their 13th anniversary. In the photo, their heads were covered with a laal chunni. She had captioned the picture as "Another year of fully accepting the dark and the light within each other...another year of holding on together......happy anniversary to my best grip in this world."
Maanayata Dutt ensures her kids, Iqra and Shahraan understand the value of every festival. On May 25, 2020, Maanayata had shared pictures from her Eid celebrations with her kids. While she had looked beautiful in a pink suit, her little ones too had opted for ethnic outfits. Sharing the pictures, Maanayata had written, "Eid Mubarak to everyone...May the doors of happiness and prosperity be open upon you #eidulfitr2020 #love #grace #positivity #dutts #beautifullife #thankyougod." Maanayata had also shared pictures of their Eid celebrations on her Instagram stories.
