Luv Sinha is the son of legendary actor, Shatrughan Prasad Sinha and his wife, Poonam Sinha. Following his father's footsteps, Luv has already entered politics and an acting career. While he contested in the 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election from INC in Bankipur Constituency against Nitin Nabin from BJP and lost by 39,036 votes, Luv is also setting his foot firmly in the Hindi film industry. After working in the films, Saadiyan and Paltan, Luv will show his acting mettle in his upcoming film, Gadar 2 alongside Sunny Deol, Utkarsh Gupta and others. Now, Luv opened up about his family's reaction to his film and revealed other anecdotes from his life.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Luv Sinha was asked about his family's reaction to his short appearance in the upcoming film, Gadar 2. To this, the actor revealed that despite the film's limited screen time, he was excited to work beside Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. He also mentioned his feeling about being lucky to appear in a film like Gadar 2 and said:
“I have a guest appearance in the film as Fareed. I can’t say too much about him but he is a character who is aggressive. When our family is mistreated, we obviously want to act but sometimes our hands are tied. It’s how I look at Fareed. I mainly did the film because not everyone has an opportunity to be a part of a film like Gadar. Anil and Sunny sir are obviously the reason why I wanted to be in the film. Even if not a large role, I am happy.”

In the film, Luv will be seen in the role of 'Fareed', which is among the many supporting roles in the Gadar sequel. In the same conversation, Luv opened up about Shatrughan Sinha's reaction to his limited screen time in the upcoming film, Gadar 2, and revealed how his family were initially not on board the idea. However, when he discussed his wishes with them, they agreed. Luv shared:
“I say this in a respectful manner, honestly, there was a little bit of concern in the beginning that the role is not lengthy. I had a discussion with my family. I said that it was fine. Gadar 2 is a film I admire. I have a dream to work with all actors like Sunny Deol, Amit Ji and Govinda bhaiya–all the legends I look up to. People may say ‘Luv you should have thought about this role’ but I always wanted to be in Gadar 2. I am happy to work with Sunny sir.”
Further, Luv was asked about his reaction when a lot is written daily about the Sinha family matters. To this, the actor shared that he doesn't care about the online trolling and stuff as he only uses the social media platform for his work. In Luv's words:
“I don’t take social media very seriously. We can’t go and stop everyone from talking, especially when you are from a family with a good father who has worked hard to build a reputation. As far as my family is concerned, I don’t get bothered by social media. I am only on social media because of my profession."

Luv was also heard revealing his wish to work to work with his family members. When asked if he would be seen with his sister, Sonakshi Sinha, Luv shared his wish to work with his father, Shatrugan Sinha. The actor also mentioned that he and his father would be next seen together in an upcoming web series, Gangster. He revealed:
“More than Sonakshi, my dream is to work with my father. I have been onto. I shot a series with my father in April. We have not leaked any images. It’s called Gangster. I look for the right opportunity and role. It’s not just about being a so-called hero. It’s about being an actor and becoming a hero with your work. We have seen that happening in Bachchan’s case, my father’s and Vinod Khanna's case. Everyone wants to be the hero but the path is different. I am trying to find my way and it has taken a longer time, I don’t deny. It wasn’t smooth, I cannot pretend.”
