'Laguna Beach' Fame, Lauren Conrad Opens Up About Married Life After Leaving Fame, 'Very Settled..'

It’s been more than a decade since the reality TV personality, Lauren Conrad stepped away from the fame to focus on her family including husband and two kids. For those who do not know, Lauren rose to fame with Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, is currently a fashion designer and entrepreneur. Amid that, she recently sat down for a conversation with People Magazine, during which she opened up about her decision to step away from the limelight.

Lauren Conrad reveals TV was a ‘temporary decision’

Recently, on March 31, 2026, Lauren Conrad had a candid conversation with People Magazine, during which she opened up about her decision to step away from acting and fame. During the conversation, she shared that reality TV was always a ‘temporary decision’ for her so that she could later pursue her passion. She shared, "I always looked at reality TV as a temporary thing to make my connections and then go on to my dream."

Lauren Conrad feels ‘settled’ now with her family

During the same conversation, Lauren Conrad also opened up about his life after stepping away from fame and limelight. She shared that she feels ‘very happy’ and ‘grateful’ that she is able to spend time with her family and kids. She was quoted as saying:

"I really appreciate private moments. Nobody cares who I am here. It’s such a privilege to be able to live my life for myself after putting many years on camera. I feel very settled and happy. I just feel grateful right now."

Lauren Conrad to return to spotlight with the reunion of Laguna Beach

For those who do not know, the reality TV personality, Lauren Conrad is all set to return to the spotlight very soon at the reunion of Laguna Beach. Talking about the same, she revealed that her journey was not at all easy; however, today when she thinks about it, she laughs it off even though she was once embarrassed about the same things. It is worth noting that the reunion is all set to premiere on April 10, 2026. 

Lauren Conrad talks about her husband

Lauren Conrad is married to William Tell. The two crossed paths in 2012 and later, in 2014, the duo got married. Today, they share two sons, Liam and Charlie. During the same conversation with People Magazine, Lauren recalled her first meet and love story with William. The reality TV fame shared:

"[I thought he was] super cute. My husband’s a smoke show! We both dove in almost immediately. We fell hard and got engaged a year and a half after we started dating, which is pretty quick. Once we got married, I was like, ‘I’d like to make people with him. I knew he’d be a good dad."

Towards the end, Lauren Conrad spoke about embracing parenthood. When asked about how her days are going, she stated that nowadays she is completely occupied with her children's school, their sports practices and more. Further, Lauren also revealed that her husband, William is majorly busy with kids. She also mentioned that she feels very lucky that she is able to raise her kids this beautifully. In her words:

"He’s so engaged with our kids. He’s the parent who does funny voices when he reads the story, he coaches every team they’re on. It’s been really fun to parent together. The fields they’re playing on are the same fields I played soccer on. I feel really lucky to be able to raise my kids in the same space I grew up. It’s a really special place."
