Lamar Odom Once Broke Down Speaking On His Relationship With His Kids After He Came Out Of Coma

Former NBA star, Lamar Odom, has been very open about the relationship he has with his kids, Destiny and Lamar Odom Jr. The former NBA star shares kids with his ex, Liza Morales. Well, in recent times, Lamar, in his documentary titled Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, spoke about his regrets and his desire to reconnect with his kids, and he spoke very honestly. The old interview about his relationship with his children went viral on social media.

When former NBA star, Lamar Odom spoke about the relationship he had with his children

It was back in October 2015 when Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a brothel in Crystal, Nevada, near Los Angeles. He was in a coma for three days, and then he woke up. Lamar was then flown to the Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre and then left for a private rehabilitation facility. Now, an old interview of Lamar has gone viral where he was seen talking about his complex relationship with his kids post his coma. Lamar Odom broke down when he spoke about his relationship with his kids. For the unversed, his children had not supported his relationship with Khloe Kardashian. Odom had earlier revealed that his kids had not attended his wedding with Khloe, but speaking about his equation with them, he had shared:

"My son is my best friend. I love my daughter, but her affection can be inconsistent."

Lamar Odom's kids had not attended his wedding to Khloe Kardashian

A PEOPLE report revealed that Lamar Odom's kids did not attend his wedding to Khloe Kardashian. Many members of his family had thought it was a joke when the former NBA player just told them he would marry Khloe after dating her for only 30 days. His ex-wife, Liza, had revealed that she felt he was joking, and his aunt, Janean Mercer, had shared:

"I really thought he was joking. I said My God, come on now. That’s too soon.’ I said, ‘Things like that don’t work out."

His son, Lamar Odom Jr, and daughter, Destiny, had opted out of the wedding. According to the report, Destiny revealed that she did not want to be a show pony or anything like that. Destiny had revealed that if her dad wanted to get married in front of a hundred people and all these cameras, that’s totally cool, as it was on him. However, Lamar's aunt had confessed that she and her kids were not at all invited to the wedding.
