Kusha Kapila is a popular name in the world of dynamic social media influencers. She enjoys a massive fanbase courtesy of her versatile talents, gorgeous beauty and unfiltered opinions. The diva, in her professional life, has been riding high on successes, as she not only made her Cannes debut this year, but also got her acting break with films and series like, Plan A Plan B, Ghost Stories, Masaba Masaba among others. However, she went through a challenging phase in her personal life, after she announced her divorce from her husband, Zorawar Ahluwalia. And now, after months of her divorce, she penned a note about grief.
Taking to her IG handle, Kusha Kapila dropped a cryptic post, wherein she penned her experience of feeling grief in her life. Calling it a ‘weird thing’, Kusha highlighted how the grief made her feel tight on her chest and even added how it made her feel hurt. Moreover, she even expressed her doubt about the feeling remaining permanent or just a passing phase. An excerpt from her long picture note can be read as:
“It's a weird thing, this grief or whatever version of it I am currently experiencing. As overcome I am by its heaviness - I guess chest days feel like this - I am also strangely dwarfed by it, to the point of feeling like an injured nail on a pinky toe.”

While Kusha and Zorawar may have parted ways, they do continue to share an amicable bond and are always there as each other’s pillar of strength. Proof of the same was visible when Zorawar, on July 21, 2023, revealed through his IG stories how his ex-wife, Kusha, flew down to Delhi in order to be by his side as he underwent surgery for Haemorrhoids. He dropped a picture of her and penned:
“Couldn't have done this without her. She was here in a heartbeat to get me through this surgery. For all those asking it was a case of Haemorrhoids (stage 4). I'm better now, resting it out."
Ever since Kusha and Zorawar announced their divorce, the former has been receiving a lot of unnecessary criticism and trolling for the same. She had been called out nasty names and received a lot of hatred over her choice in her personal life. Later, she took to her IG stories and penned a note, where she silenced it all at once. She said that the particular topic was officially over for her, and that she would not give a statement to any media portal. Moreover, she also revealed that since she does not have a PR team, so she has been directly attacked with a lot of nasty and unsolicited remarks.

Interestingly, Kusha’s ex-husband Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia also gave out a strong reaction while defending his ex-wife against the unjust trolls and criticisms being levied on her. In a long note dropped on his social media handle, Zorawar mentioned that the painful decision of divorce was decided on mutually by both of them and most importantly, they still hold on to mutual respect for one another. In the end, he asked netizens to stop attacking Kusha and refrain from maligning her character in villainous colours.
