Kajol is considered as one of the most bubbly actresses of her time. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar is counted amongst the super energetic heroes of that time, who could very easily etch a special place in the hearts of his millions of fans. And Akshay also had a fling with many actresses before he finally tied the knot with Twinkle Khanna, on January 17, 2001, in a secret marriage. In addition, if multiple reports are to be believed, Kajol also had a big crush on Akshay. For the unversed, they shared the screen in the 1991 film, Yeh Dillagi. However, after this film, they never worked together for the reasons best known to them.
Now, a Reddit user shared a video consisting of two clips featuring Kajol. One of which was reportedly from one of the events of Kajol and Akshay Kumar's film, Yeh Dillagi's promotional spree. In the video, Akshay was seen constantly talking about some matters, but his voice was muted. However, what caught our attention was Kajol continually staring at him throughout the clip, which was enough to prove her huge crush on him.

The following clip was from Kajol and Karan Johar's appearance at The Kapil Sharma Show on April 27, 2019. The clip featured the part wherein Karan explained how he formed a beautiful friendship with Kajol. Ahead of him, Kajol had already shared a hilarious incident, wherein she laughed at Karan non-stop for 30 minutes due to his fashion sense. Opening up on her lines, Karan started explaining what happened when he met Kajol for the second time at another event, which was for the 1991 film, Henna's special preview party.
Karan shared, "Phir uske baad hum aur ek party mein mile the, jo Henna film ki premiere thi. Aur tab Kajol ko, she was having a big crush on Akshay Kumar, I remember." Listening to Karan, Kajol became shocked and gave a cold reaction. However, her smile was still present. Watching Kajol react to his words in such a way, Karan mentioned, "Abhi bol sakte hai." Well, it clearly proved Kajol's affirmation of having a huge crush on Akshay. And to this, the show's host, Kapil and judge, Archana Puran Singh, were left in splits.

Finally, in his concluding statement, Karan mentioned how Kajol searched for Akshay Kumar throughout the event, and the filmmaker joined her. Thus, they started searching for Akshay together during the entire event. However, Karan revealed that they could not succeed in the same but formed a good friendship. In Karan's words:
"Toh poore premier mein wo Akshay Kumar ko dhund rahe thi aur main unka sahara ban gaya tha. Secretly shayad main bhi Akshay Kumar ji ko hi dhund raha tha. Toh I was like hum dono chal pade Akshay Kumar toh nhi mila lekin humein ek dusre ko hum mil gaye. Koi mil gaya, friendship ho gaya. Toh usise humari friendship ki shuruat hui."

Well, on her personal front, Kajol got married to the love of her life, Ajay Devgn on February 24, 1999, and together they are blessed with two kids, Nysa and Yug.
