Having a sister is like having a second wardrobe! There’s always a fancy bag, dreamy outfit, pretty accessories, and chic shoes in her closet that we would want from them. Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are serious fashion goals and we can't help but envy! Janhvi and Khushi’s pictures and videos together, from teasing each other to twinning in the same outfits, remind us of the cherishable moments we have spent with our sisters. A few months back, something that Janhvi did, made Khushi ‘hate’ her sister. For Priyanka Chopra Jonas' 'Social For Good' event, Janhvi had sported a dress which was stolen by her from her baby sister, Khushi’s wardrobe. Sharing a screenshot of a fun Instagram chat, the Dhadak star had written, “When you steal your sister’s clothes hehehe”.
On June 9, 2019, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor had attended their cousin, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s birthday bash and it was the latter’s outfit that caught our attention. Khushi looked pretty in a summer friendly and breezy floor-length floral printed dress. And it reminded us of her big sister, Janhvi’s outfit which she had worn at Mira Rajput Kapoor’s baby shower ceremony. While Janhvi had teamed her pretty outfit with basic white slip on sandals and pulled her hair back into a ponytail, Khushi opted for a pair of pretty silver bow sandals and teamed this with a micro nude bag.
Dhadak fame, Janhvi Kapoor had featured on VOOT Original’s chat show, Feet Up With The Stars season 2 and in a conversation with the host, Anaita Shroff Adajania, she had talked about her sister, Khushi Kapoor. Sharing something that all sisters can easily relate to, Janhvi had said, “Khushi is righteous and that even for sharing clothes, she is like ‘You can’t take them without asking me. Otherwise, there is no rivalry but this taking each others’ clothes without telling is a big issue. But she is my fashion censor. She has the best sense of fashion from us all.”
On the same show, Janhvi Kapoor also talked about the bond she shares with her sister, Khushi Kapoor. Before talking about their camaraderie, Janhvi confirmed that Khushi will be joining New York Film Academy as she has finalised to have a career in acting. After mulling over a modelling career for some time now, Khushi will figure out what she wants to do next. Janhvi had shared, “She is going to NYFA. Then after she comes back, she will figure what she wants to do.” However, Janhvi and their papa, Boney Kapoor are a bit wary of Khushi Kapoor’s decision, “I’m getting palpitations just thinking about Khushi going to... Speaking in length about their sisterhood, Janhvi Kapoor revealed what do they fight about. The Dhadak of the nation had said, “We share our clothes, but we have this thing that if you steal without telling, then it’s a thing. At this point, I don’t care. She still like... She’s very righteous, so she is like, ‘You cannot take something without asking.’ She feels like she needs to inculcate manners in me. So that’s where it’s coming from.”
Sometime back, in an interview with Cosmopolitan India, Janhvi Kapoor had shared that the Kapoor siblings have a WhatsApp group called ‘Dad’s Kids’, which includes Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and their father Boney Kapoor. Revealing that she gets her fashion statement approved first on the group, Janhvi had said, “I send all my outfit pictures along with looks from different photoshoots on that group. In fact, most of my outfits need to be approved by dad, otherwise, I don’t feel confident wearing them.”
On November 15, 2018, when Khushi Kapoor turned 18, her elder sister, Janhvi Kapoor had shared a super-adorable throwback video of the sisters dancing together and this is what Janhvi wrote as a ‘happy birthday’ post for her, “Just an example of how most of my childhood consisted of being bullied by you.
