Katy Perry is grabbing the spotlight currently after actress, Ruby Rose levied serious sexual assault allegations on her. Rose recently revealed that she was sexually assaulted by Perry at a nightclub, on the other hand, Perry reacted to the allegations calling them ‘categorically false’. And now a video from the same night featuring Perry goes viral.

Amid the ongoing fiasco, TMZ posted a video of Katy Perry, believed to be taken on the same night of the assault. In the 16-year-old video, Katy was seen smiling at Melbourne’s Grand Hyatt in 2010. The singer was seen grabbing a mic and performing a few songs live for the audience present there. As per reports, it is believed that Rose was present with Perry at that time but was nowhere seen in the video. The report further stated that Perry and Rose later went to the Melbourne nightclub Spice Market, the same spot where Ruby claims the assault took place.

Ruby Rose recently made serious allegations against Katy Perry on Threads. She replied to a story on Threads posted by Complex about Perry’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s Coachella show and wrote:

“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a shit what she thinks. I was only in my early 20s. I’m now 40. It has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly. Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes.”

A former manager of the Melbourne nightclub where Katy Perry and Ruby Rose were present revealed that both the stars came together and were very drunk. He also claimed that he had not seen the alleged incident. The ex-manager of the nightclub confirmed that Ruby Rose and Katy Perry had exited on very good terms despite both of them being very heavily drunk. In an earlier interview with the Herald Sun, the ex-manager revealed that it was a 'security nightmare'.

Meanwhile, Perry's representatives called the allegations ‘categorically false’ and ‘reckless lies.’ In a statement to ABC News, Perry's representative said:

“The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies. Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”
