Katy Perry Calls BF, Justin Trudeau 'Love Of My Life,' Reveals Feeling 'Anchored' By Their Romance

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have been grabbing all the attention after they decided to make their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Festival. The loved-up couple were seen sweetly posing together at the premiere of the Dark Horse singer's concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live from Paris, on June 8, 2026. Amid this, Katy gave fans some insight into her romance with Justin and how it makes her a “grounded” person. 

Katy Perry reveals how her tour has made her lean more into love with Justin Trudeau 

In a recent interview, Katy Perry spoke about the way in which her tour has shaped her, especially when it comes to leaning into love with her boyfriend, Justin Trudeau. She revealed that it makes her a grounded person in many aspects. Not only that, she claimed that she is very much in love. Seemingly referring to Justin as her “anchor,” Katy went on to say that he makes her feel like a complete person. In her words:

"I feel like a more grounded person in so many aspects of my life. I am very in love. And actually, that show was after I met the love of my life, and so I felt very anchored by that because I'm a little bit like a rainbow kite. I fly super high and touch the bayou...and sometimes I need to be anchored. So, to have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now."

After their appearance at the Tribeca Festival, which already sent fans into a frenzy, Justin Trudeau took to his Instagram to share a number of moments from his and Katy's red carpet debut as a couple. In the pictures which the former Canadian Prime Minister posted a while ago, the couple can be seen completely head over heels in love with each other. 

In the first picture, Justin and Katy can be seen gazing into each other's eyes while Katy holds out her hand for her boyfriend to hold. In the second snap, the couple are photographed standing close to each other with the biggest smiles on their faces as they pose for the cameras. Alongside the photos, Justin made sure to write a short yet love-filled note for his girlfriend, Katy. His caption can be read as:

“What a special night. Huge energy on screen, huge energy in the audience! So happy to be by your side, Katy!”

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were first linked together after they were spotted out on a walk with a small dog in Montreal in July 2025. They were photographed once again in the same month, grabbing dinner at a restaurant called Le Violon. Following this, Justin was seen attending his girlfriend's concert in Montreal on July 30, 2026. 

According to recent reports, Katy had ended up back at Justin's Montreal home after their first date, and the duo have been inseparable since. At the time, Katy was on her tour in Canada. An insider revealed that “one of the main ways” that the pair connected was when Justin's team reached out for tickets to attend Katy's concert. Not only that, they wanted to arrange a meet and greet with Justin's daughter, Ella Grace, who happens to be a huge fan of the Teenager Dreams singer. After the pair bonded, the insider further revealed that they “both have really busy schedules but make it a point to take time out for each other.”
