In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Kareena Kapoor Khan has revealed that her hubby, Saif Ali Khan is the reason, why she’s choosing completely different roles. From playing an interesting character in her last film, Good Newwz and going to be seen as a cop in her upcoming film, Angrezi Medium. She said, “We talk about work but there are times when he tells me about letting it go. He often tells me that the tag of being super successful won’t last but being a great actor will. Apart from that, travelling, reading books and meeting people who are not so insular with the industry has helped as it’s just refreshing.” Kareena Kapoor's film, Laal Singh Chadha, is the Bollywood remake of the cult Hollywood film, Forrest Gump. Well, Saif Ali Khan also never skips a chance to express the love and respect that he holds in his heart for his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan. The Jawaani Jaaneman actor had revealed in an interview with The Times of India and had revealed that it is his wife, Kareena, who is the reason behind their successful marriage. He had explained, “I am very lucky to have her in my life because she also encourages friendships and relationships away from this business. Whether it is cooking, hanging out with friends at home, renting a cottage in whichever country or doing simple things together. It is about valuing the quality time we spend together.” The actor had also talked about the things that are different and same in both of them. He had stated, “We have our similarities and differences, but this is one huge thing we have in common. We work here, we love and respect it, but it is not an obsession.”
Kareena Kapoor is equally madly-in-love with her hubby, Saif and had revealed in one of her past interviews that choosing him as her husband was the best decision of her life. The actress had revealed this while having a conversation with Pinkvilla, and had said, “He did tell me that 'I think we should get married.' He told me that in Greece and he told me once in Ladakh as well that 'We will make a great couple.' And, at that time I was like, 'I don't know because I don't know you.' So, it was not a 'no' but it was more like, 'I want to know you better.' I think I made the best decision of my life. I'd met him before but while we were filming Tashan, something changed. I wore my heart on my sleeve! He was so charming; I fell for him hook, line and sinker.”
No wonder there are a lot of things that people need to learn from this power couple of the Bollywood industry. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are extremely supportive for each other and never skip a chance to spend quality time with their little munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan.
