When the two had first met on the sets of the movie, Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge, they felt that they couldn’t be even friends. And after collaborating for their second film, 99, the two had felt the spark. It was in 2014 when Kunal had popped the question to Soha in Paris, to which she had promptly replied ‘yes’. The two had gotten engaged in 2014 and on January 25, 2015, the gorgeous princess of the Pataudi khandaan had tied the knot with the handsome hunk, Kunal Kemmu. Even after five years of marital bliss, the couple has been giving relationship goals to the millennials.
In an interview with The Times of India, Soha has talked about her relationship with Kunal. She has stated that how after five years of their marriage, the two are more mature and understanding towards each other. Giving credit to parenthood for getting more stability into her marriage, Soha said, “There was a time when I would try to change Kunal and wanted him to behave the way I expected. But, over time, I realised that he is who he is, and I am who I am, and we have learned to co-exist without trying to change each other.”
Soha also talked about being a disciplinarian and stated, “Well, somebody has to be the disciplinarian, right? Kunal loves to have fun. He doesn’t believe in schedules, or bedtime, or nutritious meals. That doesn’t mean he is a careless parent, but when it comes to discipline, I am the one who makes sure Inaaya does what she has to. Soha and Kunal celebrated their New Year in Australia with daughter, Inaaya. On January 2, 2020, Soha had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a mushy picture with the love of her life, Kunal from Bondi beach. She had captioned it as "Bondi beach! @khemster2". Soha had also shared a couple of pictures as her Instagram stories with her angel, Inaaya and her surprise meeting with her favourite book character, Gruffalo.
On January 25, 2020, Soha and Kunal had completed five years of marital bliss and they had posted their wedding video on their respective social media handles. While Kunal had penned a long note for his wife, Soha, which could be read as “Happy Anniversary It’s been 5 years and it seems like a good time to share my happiness with everyone. Thank you for being your wonderful and sometimes not so wonderful self. Thank you for all the smiles and tears thank you for all the hugs and stares. Thank you for being my friend thank you for being my wife. Thank you for making me a father and giving me a new life.” Soha had kept her wish short and crisp, “Happy Anniversary” followed by a heart emoji.

An all-ecstatic Soha Ali Khan had taken to Twitter in 2014 and had announced the news with all her followers about Kunal popping the ‘big question’ to her and that she had said a ‘yes’!
