Karan Kundrra and Anusha Dandekar had dated each other for almost five years before calling it quits in December 2020. On December 30, 2020, Anusha Dandekar had put out a post on her IG handle in which she had confirmed her breakup with Karan Kundrra. In her long note, she had accused Karan of cheating on her.
For a while now, there have been speculations doing rounds on the internet that Anusha will join the Bigg Boss house. Moreover, her ex-boyfriend, Karan's growing closeness to fellow housemate, Tejasswi Prakash, on the show is unmissable. However, Karan broke his silence and revealed why he had broken up with VJ Anusha. On the other hand, the latter took a sarcastic dig at the rumours about her joining the house.

On the latest episode of the popular show, Bigg Boss 15, Karan Kundrra had a candid conversation with fellow housemate, Shamita Shetty. The two discussed his ex-girlfriend, Anusha Dandekar, over the cup of their morning tea. He opened up about why he broke up with Anusha. Talking about the same, Karan Kundrra said:
“I lost a lot of friends in the last one and a half years, for obvious reasons. Mera break up hua tha na, I forgot everything else this time. I got too busy with the relationship. They (friends) were like ‘if you were not with us then, then why should we be with you now’. I realised one thing - you cannot work on your own follies till the time you accept that you have them in the first place.”
Karan also revealed what went wrong and said his approach towards people is self-centered. Sharing the details, he said:
“A lot of things happened with me around the lockdown time. Multiple people, multiple layers of relationships and everything I f***** up. With my friends, I am quite sure with my ex, with my family. People who actually cared for me. I am a caring person, I will be there for everyone but I am a very self-centered person. My approach towards people is very self centred.”
Talking further in the conversation, Karan Kundrra talked about his break-up with Anusha Dandekar, and shared how things could have been different if he had sorted his issues on time. Karan said:
“Agar hum fat jaate to shayad sort kar lete. Mai fata nahi, wo fatati rahi aur mai us se door hota raha. Mereko lagta hai mere ko imperfections se pyar hota hai but agar humne ek dusre ko baith k samjha hota to cheesein change hoti. Agar maine apne issues sort kar liya hota, relationship ko affect nahi hone diya hota, things would have been different.”
At the end of the conversation, hoping that Anusha was watching them on the show, Karan shared that there are too many people to instigate her. To which, Shamita Shetty expressed hopes and said:
"Kaun bhadkane wale usko? When there is love in your heart, it says a lot. Listen, I have always been with men my family never liked. So I get where you are coming from.”
Moreover, there have been rumours about Anusha Dandekar joining the Bigg Boss house. However, the actress had quashed the reports and had requested people to refrain from indulging in such conjectures. Moreover, she had slammed the media for disseminating fake stories. However, now, the actress took a sarcastic dig at the rumours on her social media handle.

On October 27, 2021, Anusha Dandekar took to her Instagram handle and posted a video revealing that she will enter the Bigg Boss house. In the video, the actress was seen wearing a white bathrobe as she played with her hair. Along with it, she wrote a caption which can be read as:
"All the Rumours are true… I’m entering the house. They are paying me so much money, well at first it wasn’t enough but now I signed a bigger deal, coz obviously I’m that entertaining. I'm a billionaire now… see you inside in 5 min… oh I am also allowed to run my skin company @brownskinbeautyofficial from inside and I get to take my pups! Yay! “Everything you need to know!”."
Earlier, in a conversation with ETimes, Karan Kundrra had opened up about his split with his ex-girlfriend and model, Anusha Dandekar. The actor had also addressed the possibilities of Anusha entering Bigg Boss 15 as a wild card contestant. The ex-boyfriend had stated that he knows her very well, and had no issues regarding Anusha’s entry into the show because, during their relationship, they’d lived together under the same roof. He had said:
“I have no problem with it. In fact, hum saath mein rahe hain. I know her very well.”
