“Phoolon ka taron ka sabka kehna hai...Ek hazaron mein meri behna hai...Saari umar hamein sang rehna hai...” This is what every household in India was listening to for it was one of the much-awaited festivals of the year, Rakshabandhan. What was interesting this year was the fact that Rakhi fell on August 15, 2019, which also happens to be Independence Day in India. So, yesterday was double celebrations for the entire nation! So was the case with the Kapoors from the Tinseltown namely, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Rhea Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Mohit Marwah, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor.
The entire Kapoor siblings’ clan had so much fun yesterday as they celebrated Rakhi together. Though many of their kids from the big family was missing from the pictures that went viral on social media, nonetheless, the happiness was quite evident on the faces of the names mentioned above! Sonam’s husband Anand S Ahuja and Mohit’s wife Antara Marwah also joined the celebrations. Yesterday, two get to sneak peek the Rakhi celebration pictures of our favourite celebrities. Sonam took to her official Instagram handle and shared a lovely story atop which she wrote, “Rakhee loot! @arjunkapoor and @mohitmarwah you guys are the best!! Where is the rest of it? @akshaymarwa22, @harshwardhankapoor, @bhambani_siddhant, @karansingh.” Arjun also shared pictures from the get-together. What grabbed the attention was her ‘twinning in yellow’ moment with her cousin, Mohit Marwah. Though everyone else was wearing different colours, it seems that Sonam and Mohit might have accidentally twinned with each other. For the ones who had missed out, let us tell you this crazy bunch of cousins had so much fun on Mohit’s wedding with Antara on February 20, 2018. The pre-wedding celebrations had started a day before the D-day i.e. on February 19, 2018, following the star-studded cocktail party in the evening that had gone an extra mile glamorously when Arjun had hosted the event. In a media interaction sometime back, Harsh was asked if he takes guidance from Sonam and Rhea, he had replied, “Sonam is in her own world, and she’s done all kinds of films. But I also think it’s easier sometimes for a heroine to fit in a lot of films…for example, a Padman is not driven by her, right? So she doesn’t have to be there for a 100 days. Heroines can be freer. For me now, the whole film will hinge on my shoulders…So, I don’t really take advice from her. Rhea’s a producer. She has more marketing feedback as opposed to creative feedback with script and stuff. The love between Kapoor sibling is known to everyone. More so is their social media banter, which is quite common and has always grabbed everyone’s attention. Sometime back Sonam Kapoor had posted a few pictures from her shoot wearing an oversized pantsuit. At that time, Arjun Kapoor pulled her leg with a funny comment, as he had written, “I want my suit back!!!” Not just him, even Sonam’s better half, Anand S Ahuja too participated in teasing his ladylove and had penned, “@rheakapoor can I borrow these after Sonam’s done.
