Kajol, daughter of veteran actress, Tanuja and Shomu Mukherjee had made her way into the glitz and glamour world with her versatile acting skills, bubbly nature and stunning looks. She had made her Bollywood debut with the film, Bekhudi but rose to fame with the movie, Baazigar. Her on-screen chemistry with Shah Rukh Khan is still considered one of the most iconic.
Over the years, she has given back-to-back hit films. However, she had taken a sabbatical from the movies for a few years and made a comeback as a debutant on the OTT platform with the film, Tribhanga. Now, in a media conversation, she applauded the OTT platforms for acknowledging new and amazing talents and even took a dig at those who judge stars based on their looks and body structure.

Ever since the pandemic of COVID-19 had hit the country, we have been stuck within the four walls and couldn't go to watch movies. At that time, the OTT platforms helped us enjoy our favourite movies at home. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kajol opened up about how fabulous actors are now getting a stage to showcase their talents because of these platforms. Talking about the same, she shared:
"You have people who are genuinely fabulous actors getting a stage and being able to show exactly what they are capable of, and becoming stars in their own right despite the fact that they don't have a 24 inches waistline and a 36 inches chest or a 46 inches chest."
Further going into the interview, Kajol added that stardom is somewhere getting lost because of the ardent usage of social media. Mentioning that she isn't criticising them, Kajol revealed that she only wants to express her opinion of stardom getting diluted because of the social media platforms. In her words:
"Most people put their entire lives on social media and are doing only that one thing 24 hours. Half the time they are on screen, half the time they are on social media."

Apart from being an actress, Kajol is a loving wife to Ajay Devgn and a doting mother of two children, Nysa Devgan and Yug Devgan. Even though Nysa hasn't stepped into the Bollywood industry yet, she is already leading the internet with her gorgeous looks and sartorial picks and enjoys a massive fanbase.
On the professional front, recently, Kajol attended her film, Gupt's special screening as it marked 25 years. On the other hand, a while back, the actress even crossed 30 years in this industry.
