Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan are one of the most iconic jodis in Bollywood. The charisma of the pair never failed to mesmerise their fans. From Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to My Name Is Khan, SRK and Kajol remained the most loved on-screen jodis. Apart from being co-stars, the duo is often hailed as the besties of B-town. Now and then, Kajol showers praise on her bestie, Shah Rukh Khan. And this time was no different. In a recent interview, the actress called her bestie, SRK, 'the smoothest talker'.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Kajol was asked whom she would like to choose as a lawyer besides her husband, Ajay Devgn, in a film. To such a question, Kajol mentioned that she would choose Shah Rukh Khan. The actress mentioned that she would choose SRK because she knows that the talented actor wouldn't even need the lines. Kajol mentioned SRK could talk her out of anything that she had gotten herself into. Elaborating more on the same, the actress stated:
"Shah Rukh. Hands down I will choose Shah Rukh. He is the smoothest talker ever...And he will be standing over there and be like ‘lines ki jaroorat nahi hai, mein bol sakta hu’ (laughs). He will stand there and he will talk me out of anything that I’ve gotten myself into. So, definitely hands-down Shah Rukh."

Earlier in an interview, with The Hindu, Kajol mentioned how Shah Rukh Khan had helped her ease into one of their most iconic songs. Sharing details about the same, Kajol stated that while the shoot of the song, Jaati Hoon Main, from the 1995 movie, Karan Arjun, she was clueless about what to do and merely did anything she was instructed to do. Recalling the same incident, the actress mentioned that her co-star, Shah Rukh Khan, helped her with the same. Heaping praise on SRK, Kajol stated that he is a star who can instantly understand what is comfortable for a female actor and what is not and tries his level best to make them comfortable.

Earlier in an interview with YouTuber, Ranveer Allahbadia, Kajol opened up about the differences between her hubby, Ajay Devgn, and bestie, Shah Rukh Khan. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that SRK's fame and popularity are nothing new and have been consistent for many years. The actress also recalled an incident when she had a conversation with SRK on the latter's birthday. Kajol stated:
"Shah Rukh is one of those people who recognised very early on who he was on screen, who he was expected to be, and pretty much lived up to those expectations. I remember once on his birthday, I was like, It’s your birthday, I’m coming to see you. He said, Come, come, but today’s not a good day I said, Why? He said, I have to go out, I have to meet all these people, give interviews. At the end of the day, my birthday’s not my own anymore. I belong to these people. And that’s who he is.”
In the same interview, Kajol also talked about her experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan. The actress said that she had seen her co-star, Shah Rukh, as more of a person rather than a co-star, and she also witnessed his transformation over the years. In the same interview, Kajol shared that although she hadn't worked with him for several years, she was sure that SRK had now evolved to focus and prioritise himself more than anybody else.
