Malvika Raaj rose to fame when she portrayed the role of the young ‘Poo’ in the Karan Johar family drama, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. While her stint in the film was a short one, nevertheless, it gave her immense fame and stardom at quite a young age. Fast forward to now, she has all grown up as a beautiful diva and has been a part of films as an adult actress. Moreover, recently, she was thrilled to turn the next chapter of her life, as she recently dropped dreamy pictures of her engagement in Turkey. And now, she opened up on the same.
In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Malvika Raaj opened up about her dreamy engagement that took place against the picturesque background of beautiful hot air balloons in the vast lands of Turkey. Interestingly, she revealed that she didn’t have a clue about all the planning for the big moment, as it was her boyfriend, Pranav, who did it secretively without her knowledge. Calling it a cute moment which will stay in her heart and mind forever, she mentioned:
“I had no clue about his proposal plans. In fact, I thought we were going for a hot balloon ride. But Pranav had something else in mind and he totally surprised me when he pulled out the ring. It was a very cute moment which will stay in my mind and heart forever. It changed my life.”

Moving further in the interview, Malvika revealed how her businessman beau, Pranav Bagga proposed engagement to her two months back, when they were travelling to Turkey for her cousin’s wedding. However, Malvika explained that since she became busy after returning from her trip, she could not share it with the world almost immediately. In her words:
“After coming from Turkey, I was travelling and went to shoot in London for a month-and-a-half. Then I had a shooting schedule in Bhopal. So, I didn’t get time. But I wanted to share this happy moment of my life with everyone.”
In the concluding segment of the interview, Malvika recalled how she met her beau, Pranav and highlighted that they have been dating for about 10 years. As a result, she added that Pranav became her family, her go-to person for everything. Moreover, Malvika also dropped hints about her wedding plans and revealed that although she and her beau were enjoying their phase of engagement, it was their respective families who are planning their wedding. In her words:
“I’ve always kept my personal life private, and never spoke about it. And now I felt it was the right time to be out with it, so I went ahead. In all these years, we have spent so much time together that he has become my go-to person for everything and in every situation. At the moment, I am enjoying this phase being engaged. Our families are planning the wedding, and laying it all out.”

Taking to her IG handle on August 4, 2023, Malvika dropped magical glimpses of her engagement with her businessman beau, Pranav Bagga. The duo celebrated their joyous moment in Turkey, against a sky full of hot air balloons. While Malvika looked breathtaking in a gorgeous white gown, her beau, Pranav twinned with her in a white tuxedo and matching pants. The duo looked happy and madly in love as they posed with one another.
