Popular South Indian actor, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is hitting the headlines as his upcoming mythological drama, Bimbisara is getting a lot of buzz in the media, even before its release. In the film, Kalyan Ram is going to portray the character of the ancient king, Bibisara. Other than him, the movie is going to feature popular stars of the South Indian industry like Catherine Tresa, Samyuktha Menon, Warina Hussain, Prakash Raj and many more. The film is also going to explore the concept of time travel, which is one of the many reasons why this film is getting a lot of hype.
For the unversed, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is best known for his work in movies like 118, Hare Ram, and Athanokkade. Apart from being an exceptional actor, Kalyan Ram is also the owner of the famous production house, N.T.R. Arts, which he had named after his grandfather and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.

Amid all the promotional activities, the makers of the film organised a premiere of Bimbisara recently, and it was attended by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's half-brother, Jr NTR. Despite heavy rain on the day of the premiere, the doting half-brother managed to attend the premiere, and it was a sight to behold for their mutual fans. Over the years, we have seen them maintain a distance from one another, as they always used to dodge questions about each other's personal and professional lives. However, on this occasion, Jr NTR left everyone surprised after he attended Kalyan Ram's film, Bimbisara's premiere. After watching the film, Jr NTR shared his views on his half-brother's performance and said:
"If not Kalyan Ram, nobody else could have played and justified the role of Bimbisara."
For the unversed, Jr NTR and his half-brother, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram share the same father, late Nandamuri Harikrishna. The late iconic actor got married to Lakshami Harikrishna in 1973, and together they had welcomed three kids, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Nandamuri Suhasini and Janaki Ram Nandamuri. After some years, Lakshami Harikrishna got married for a second time to Shalini Nandamuri, and the couple was blessed with one child, Jr NTR.

If reports are to be believed, for so many years, Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram avoided meeting each other, and the two families kept a distance from each other. However, with time, Jr NTR has started having a steady bond with his half-siblings. Now, seeing him promoting his half-brother, Kalyan Ram's upcoming film, Bimbisara, the stakes are high that we can expect both families to come together. As per the reports, it was Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Jr NTR's father, Nandamuri Harikrishna's dream to see both the families having a friendly bond with each other. Unfortunately, the iconic actor passed away back on August 29, 2018, at the age of 81, in a tragic car crash.
For the unversed, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's film, Bimbisara is going to hit theatres on August 5, 2022.
