The popular Nadamuri clan is currently in a grieving state as they have lost one of their members. In a major breakthrough of events, senior actor and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, N T Rao's daughter, Kanthamaneni Uma Maheswari, took her last breath on August 1, 2022. The entire nation is in utter shock after hearing about the saddening demise of Kanthamaneni, and condolences are pouring in for her family members.
For the unversed, N T Rao was blessed with four daughters and eight sons, and Kanthamaneni was the youngest of the four daughters. As per multiple reports, Kanthamaneni was suffering from many health issues but she allegedly died due to suicide. Police are still investigating the case, and the conclusive statement can only be given once the post-mortem reports are out.

Uma Maheshwari passed away at her residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, on August 1, 2022. She was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her bedroom, and the police shifted the body for autopsy. Uma was reportedly facing health issues for the last few months, and she was undergoing treatment. In a conversation with India Today, Jubilee Hills police official, Rajashekhar Reddy said:
"According to a preliminary investigation, she was under depression due to ill health. A case has been registered and the body has been shifted to Osmania hospital."
In a statement to the police, Uma Maheswari's daughter, Dikshitha revealed that her mother went to her room at lunchtime but didn't come out for a while. So, she decided to contact the police, who reached her Jubilee Hills home in Hyderabad around 2:30 pm. When the police arrived, they found Uma's body hanging from the ceiling fan in her room. She added that four persons were present in the home at the time the incident had occurred.

For the unversed, May 28, 2022, had marked the 100th birth anniversary of the former CM of Andhra Pradesh, N.T. Rama Rao, and on this special occasion, his grandson, Jr NTR shared a beautiful picture of his late grandfather on his Twitter handle. Along with the priceless picture, the doting grandson penned a sweet one-liner, and it could be read as "Always remembering you." Later that day, the RRR actor was spotted at a ghat with his brother, Kalyan Ram, as the two could be seen offering their respects to their late grandfather. In the pictures, while Jr NTR could be seen donning a black T-shirt and a pair of denim, his brother, Kalyan opted for a white shirt and denim.
