From the past few weeks, there were reports about Jennifer and Alex’s relationship going through a rough patch. The reports of Page Six had stated that duo has stopped socialising and everything was not fine in their paradise. The reason for their differences was reported to be Alex’s alleged closeness with television personality, Madison LeCroy. The report had further stated that reconciliation was out of question. A source close to the couple had told People magazine, “This has been a long time coming.”
While JLo and Rodriguez’s fans were heartbroken to read reports about their alleged split, on the other hand, the couple released a joint statement and announced that they haven’t separated. The statement can read as “All the reports are inaccurate... We are working through some things.” And now, as per Entertainment Tonight, the major reason why the couple is trying to work out their differences is because of their kids. Jennifer’s twins, Emme and Max from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony and Alex’s daughters, Natasha and Ella from his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis live together and are quite close to each other. It is also reported that the kids are helping the couple to mend their differences to stay like a happy family.
On February 22, 2021, Jennifer’s twins, Emme and Max had turned a year older and Alex had penned a heartmelting wish for them. Taking to his IG handle, he had shared pictures and videos of the happy family and had written, “Happy Birthday Emme & Max!!! I’m blessed to have both of you in my life and look forward to watching you both continue to grow and do amazing things! Keep reaching for the stars! Love you both!”

Sharing a picture with her, Alex had written, “I can’t stop thinking about Wednesday and Jen’s performance at #Inauguration2021. It was such an iconic moment — one I’ll never forget. I can’t express how proud I am of her and how privileged I felt just to be in attendance. It truly was awe-inspiring and so patriotic. On the flight home, she showed me her lyrics sheet, and the significance of her performance really began to sink in. Can you believe she was the first person to sing in Spanish at an inaugural event? Another historic and groundbreaking achievement for one of the most talented and driven people the world has ever seen. #Proud #Macha.” (Also Read: 'Deadpool' Actor Ryan Reynolds' Wife, Blake Lively Trolls Him With Brad Pitt's Cameo, Netizens React)

In an interview with the Harper Bazaar, Jennifer had talked about the importance of relationships and her belief in marriage. In her words, “For me, the relationship journey has been very up and down. But it didn’t have to do with anybody else but me — it was about me figuring out me. Until you learn to love yourself, you can’t completely love [someone else] in a way that is pure and true. Once you do that, you can have relationships that are based on love and respect, that are supportive and nourishing.” (Also Read: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's 9 'Explosive' Quotes In Oprah's Interview That Shattered Internet)
