In the first video that Jennifer posted, she warned her followers not to say anything negative, as she wouldn't think twice about deleting her account and quitting social media again.
Despite this, fans are especially excited to see Jennifer share more glimpses of her personal life on the platform. For those unaware, while Jennifer is currently married to Cooke Maroney, she once sparked affair rumors with Harvey Weinstein.
Did Jennifer Lawrence have an affair with Harvey Weinstein?
According to reports, movie producer Harvey Weinstein made the claim that he slept with Jennifer Lawrence after he allegedly forced himself on a young actress during a meeting in 2013. The unnamed woman claimed that after she rejected Harvey's advances, he asked her, “Do you even want to be an actress? I slept with Jennifer Lawrence and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar.”
After the woman filed a lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein and the court documents revealed that the movie producer boasted about having a sexual relationship with Jennifer, the actress was forced to issue a statement. She said that no such affair took place between her and Harvey. While denying the claims, Jennifer also said that her heart broke for all the women who were victimized by Harvey Weinstein. She added:
“I have never had anything but a professional relationship with him. This is yet another example of the predatory tactics and lies that he engaged in to lure countless women.”

It is worth mentioning that at the time, Harvey denied all accusations of non-consensual sex with the woman. In addition to suing the movie mogul, the unnamed woman also sued The Weinstein Company, which he founded in 2005, for sexual battery and discrimination.
When the allegations were originally made against Harvey Weinstein, Jennifer Lawrence also shared that the former had always been paternal to her. She also clarified that he was never inappropriate with her. She stated:
“I heard that he was a dog, but he was always almost paternal to me. He was never inappropriate with me. I thought we had a nice relationship where when he acted like an asshole, I called him an asshole. I actually think the word I used was a sadistic monster, but it was just never of that nature, so that was really shocking.”
Jennifer Lawrence said that even though she herself had never been personally victimized by Harvey, she stands behind the women who had to survive his terrible abuse. The Hunger Games actress also applauded them for using all means necessary to bring the movie producer to justice, whether through criminal or civil means.
Meanwhile, Harvey Weinstein’s lawyer defended his client by stating that there was no truth to the allegations. He also denied that Harvey and Jennifer ever had an affair. In a statement, he shared:
“This lawsuit was filed and updated strategically with no notice given or any attempt to reach out to Mr. Weinstein’s attorneys for one reason: it was meant to embarrass Mr. Weinstein and garner unchecked media attention. There is absolutely no truth to the malicious claims made in this lawsuit, and we are reviewing our options with an eye on filing for an immediate dismissal.”
