Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan tied the knot with veteran actress, Jaya Bachchan in 1973. The evergreen couple is blessed with two kids, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan. They are also doting grandparents to Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan. The Bachchan clan is one of the most respected families in Tinseltown, and people adore them.
There is no denying the fact that Jaya Bachchan hates the paparazzi culture, as we have often seen her lashing out at paps for clicking her at different events. She hates getting clicked as she feels that the shutterbugs try to intrude in her personal life. Time and again, the legendary actress grabbed the limelight for her ugly encounters with the paps, and this time was no different.

On October 25, 2022, Jaya Bachchan was spotted outside her house amid her family's Diwali bash. In a video doing rounds on the internet, Jaya was seen chasing away the paparazzi stationed outside their home, as they tried to click the pictures and called them ‘intruders’. She got irked and reacted angrily at the paps saying, “Kaise flash kar rahe hai aap? Intruders.” Meanwhile, one of the paparazzi, who was standing on the opposite side, asked his fellow mates to switch off the camera.
This was not the first time that we witnessed Jaya Bachchan's rude attitude toward the paps. Earlier, on October 5, 2022, the paparazzi had spotted Jaya with her son, Abhishek Bachchan, at the Mumbai airport. In a video, Jaya could be seen stepping out of the car and making her way to the entrance. However, she got angry at the paparazzi stationed outside and started shouting at them. Apparently, the actress was not happy with the paps clicking her pictures, and had yelled:
“What are you all doing? Puchha apne? Puchha? Hadd hoti hai."

Recently, Jaya Bachchan appeared on her granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda’s podcast show, What The Hell Navya, and opened up about her hatred towards paparazzi. She told Navya that she hates the people who interfere in others' personal lives and added that it disgusts her. In her words:
“I hate it, I despise it, I despise the people who interfere in your personal lives and fill their stomachs by selling those products. I am disgusted with such people. I always tell them, ‘Aapko sharam nahi aati?’"
