Sasural Genda Phool star, Jay Soni can vouch for the same! The boy-next-door and every girl’s crush, Jay got married to a footwear designer, Pooja Shah in an arranged marriage set-up. After a hush-hush engagement ceremony in October 2013, Jay and Pooja tied the knot on February 18, 2014. After 4 years of marital bliss, Jay and Pooja became parents to a little angel, Aradheea J Sonii. Time flew within the blink of an eye as his baby daughter turned one-year-old on April 18, 2019.
After teasing his fans with the glimpses of his daughter, Jay Soni finally delighted them with the first picture of Aradheea J Sonii. As they all celebrate Aradheea’s first birthday, Jay captioned his post as, “Time flies but happiness and joyous warmth of carrying you in my arms remains as precious as it was a year back when I carried you in my arms for the first time. I still can't fathom the depth of my emotions this day exactly a year back. From that day onwards you continue to remain my reason for smiles and today by sharing your first picture online, I wish to bring smiles on everyone's faces as we all celebrate your 1st birthday. @aradheea”.
On Father’s Day 2018, Jay Soni had posted a glimpse of his baby daughter, holding his finger with her tiny hands. Captioning this glimpse of his two-month-old daughter, Jay had written, “Nobody ever wished me happy men's day or boyfriends day or husbands day or son's day but today my daughter wished me HAPPY FATHERS DAY.. she gave me the privilege to be celebrated as a father.. thank you my lil girl.. i am grateful to the universe that it chose me as your father :) #happyfathersday #proudfatherofalittlegirl.”
Expressing his love for kids and how eagerly they were waiting to hold the little one in their arms, in a throwback interview, Jay Soni had stated, “I love kids. They are like a stress buster for me. I can literally spend the whole day with a kid. So, it feels great to know that we’ll soon have a kid of our own. I can’t express, it’s just that we are waiting for that moment to hold the baby in our hands.” Jay had also talked about what kind of a father he will be, and had remarked, “I’ll be a very cool and chilled father. I’m overprotective by nature, so that’ll be there. Jay Soni had hosted a baby shower ceremony for his lovely wife, Pooja Soni and had invited their friends from the industry including Vivek Dahiya, Jay Bhanushali, Karishma Tanna, to name a few, for the function. While Jay had looked dapper in a blue summer tuxedo, the then-mommy-to-be was glowing in a sea-green gown. But the most hilarious and exciting part of the baby shower ceremony was Jay along with his friends, Vivek and Jay posed with the fake bumps!
As mentioned earlier, Jay Soni and Pooja Shah had met each other through their families in an arranged marriage set up. Soon Cupid struck them, love blossomed, and they exchanged rings in October 2013. On February 18, 2014, Jay Soni and Pooja Soni walked down the aisle and exchanged their wedding vows with parental consent. Sharing the reason why he opted for an arranged marriage, Jay Soni had revealed, “The only reason why I opted for an arranged marriage is that I want a simple girl who would lead a happy life. I also want to settle down and career will take its own natural course.
