Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan are two of the coolest besties in Tinseltown. Gone are the days when two contemporary actresses were necessarily tagged to be sharing a cold war. Sara and Janhvi has indeed proven that real friendships exist beyond professional sentiments. In their real life behind-the-scenes, the divas are often spotted hanging out together, doing pilates or even vacationing with one another. Moreover, the amount of support the duo shed for each other’s projects simply speak volumes about their affection for one another.
In a recent interaction with The Lallantop, Janhvi Kapoor was asked whether the report about her being fired from a film some years back because she violated the terms of contract for the same by telling people beforehand that she was a part of it. For the unversed, the concerned film was Simmba, that was directed by Rohit Shetty. Reacting to it, Janhvi not only agreed to the speculation, but also remarked how the film has already been published and she was replaced by someone else. When probed further about that actress being none other than her BFF, Sara Ali Khan, the actress agreed and said:
“Ji. Dekhiye voh film abhi kisi aur ne kar le hai, voh release ho gaye hai.”

Earlier, during their joint appearance on the chat show, Koffee With Karan 7, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan revealed unheard anecdotes from their girl’s trip to Kedarnath. The duo had certainly created a stir on the internet by dropping unmissable glimpses from their trip back then. Discussing the same, Sara mentioned how at one point, their vacation turned into a misadventure when they undertook a hike on a 85 degree inclined path. She narrated:
“We decided to go to Bhairavnath and there was a normal path for walking. But we thought ourselves to be better. We chose to hike instead. There was an 85 degree incline of just rocks and Janhvi is like let us just climb this.”
One other thing in common between Janhvi and Sara have been their sheer dedication towards fitness. Quite frequently, internet is filled with glimpses of the two actresses performing pilates together. Back in 2021, a similar video of Sara and Janhvi did rounds on the internet, wherein the duo could be seen performing pilates together under the training of Namrata Purohit.

During a recent media interaction for her upcoming film, Mr & Mrs Mahi, Janhvi Kapoor spilled beans on her hidden fashion game. The actress candidly explained how the looks of her from promotional events are procured by her stylists mostly on rent. In her words:
“Whenever the stylists call for clothes, they’re mostly rented. The shoes and rings are mine, but the necklace and bracelets are not mine. The shirt is also not mine. Bhaade ke hain! These are customised for me, but they’ve all been rented. This entire look is put together by renting clothes and accessories. In sabko lautana padta hai.”
