Jaykishan, Jaggu Dada or Jackie, no matter by what name you call him, Jackie Shroff has a persona of his own. He might remind you of the character Tony Stark following his flamboyant ways, but he has the softest heart. The man who supports many families is a true gentleman, and it is because of these qualities that he won Ayesha's heart.
Here is the adorable love story of Jackie and Ayesha Shroff.

Ayesha was born with a silver spoon, but when she met the local boy from Teen Patti, magic happened. Ayesha was barely 13 years old, hanging from the school bus when Jackie saw her for the first time. He went to her and casually introduced himself. He told him that he plays with his friends nearby and that was it.
The next time they met was at a record's shop. Ayesha wanted to buy some records, and when Jackie offered to help her, Ayesha realised how gorgeous this man is. It was at the tender age of 13 that Ayesha made up her mind that she is going to marry this man and this is exactly what happened.
Since Jackie wasn't the 'Jaggu Dada' at the time when he started dating Ayesha, he couldn't give her the luxuries with which she was brought up. But this did not change the way she looked at Jackie. They would often go for long walks and do a lot of window shopping. They would sit on the top of the double decker bus and would enjoy every moment together.
Before Jackie met Ayesha, he was in love with another girl who went to the USA for further studies. He told Ayesha about her and said that the other girl trusts him. Jackie always thought that Ayesha was only infatuated by him, but what she did next, made Jackie realise how purely she loved him.
A naive Ayesha asked Jackie to write a letter to the other girl in Jackie's life proposing that if she wants, then all three of them can stay together. She wanted to be with Jackie at every cost! Explaining her situation, Ayesha gushed:
"I had no option. I could either lose him or I had the option of keeping him with her, and I chose the latter."
Ayesha and Jackie belonged to two different societies. He was living in a chawl, while she was from the uptown. This did not go down well with Ayesha's mother, but Ayesha had already made up her mind. She married him and moved in to the chawl with him.
On June 5, 1987, they officiated their wedding. It was also Ayesha's 27th birthday. On her mother's apprehensions about Ayesha moving with him, a committed wife gushed:
"I had to. I was a married woman after all!"
The lovely couple welcomed their son, Tiger Shroff, in 1990 and completed their family with a daughter, Krishna Shroff, who was born in 1993.
Ayesha is the girl who speaks fluent French while Jackie loves the tapori language. As it is said that love has no language, they both did their best to fit into each other's lives. He would dress up better to meet her parents.
About her husband, Ayesha said:
"Jackie is the kind of guy who can be comfortable anywhere. There is no air about him. He is who he is and that is why he is comfortable anywhere."
As far as she is concerned, she explained:
"I always took people at the face value. I trusted people blindly. I have been quite superficial and seeing the way he is and has been all these years and the way he treats people has rubbed off on me. He has taught me to be more caring towards other people and not only think about myself."
Ayesha and Jackie make us want to believe in the old school idea of love and romance, where two people are so crazy about each other that no wall can come between them. Their relationship saw a lot of hardships, but they survived because they had each other's support all the time.
