Veteran actress, Neliima Azeem had faced a lot of struggles and challenges in her life and had still managed to keep her head high. The actress had got married thrice, but being unlucky in love, she had finally settled with her third hubby and renowned musician, Raza Ali Khan. Neliima had single-handedly raised her children, Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter like a proud mother. For the unversed, Shahid is Neliima's son from her first marriage with actor, Pankaj Kapur, and Ishaan is her son from her second husband, Rajesh Khatter.
Neliima Azeem and her sons, Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter share a warm bond with one another. Moreover, Shahid's wife, Mira Rajput also never misses a chance to shower her love on her saasu maa, Neliima and devar, Ishaan, and her social media handle is proof of the same.

On April 20, 2022, Ishaan Khatter took to his IG story and shared a beautiful picture of his bhabhi, Mira Rajput Kapoor, and mom, Neliima Azeem. In the picture, the saas-bahu twinned in white ensembles and looked gorgeous as ever. Mira and Neliima shared a side hug as they flashed their million-dollar smiles for the camera. Sharing the picture, atop it, Ishaan penned:
"Beauties."
Ishaan Khatter often spends quality time with his family members and shares adorable glimpses from the same on his IG handle. Ishaan admires his brother, Shahid, and time and again, shows his respect towards him. For instance, last year, Ishaan had shared two pictures of him with his elder brother, Shahid Kapoor on his IG stories and had written a sweet message atop it, which could be read as:
"Bhai, who has shown me by example the value of perseverance, hard work and patience."

Neliima Azeem had raised her sons, Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter as a single mother. In an interview with ETimes, Neliima had opened up about her difficult experience and had revealed that she had struggled for years to provide her sons with a happy life. However, the actress had also shared that she feels proud to see Shahid and Ishaan succeeding in the Indian film industry. The doing mother had added that now she's ready to enjoy her time with her grandchildren, Zain and Misha, and had said:
"I raised my kids as a single mother, and it was very tough in those days. Now, after working very hard and struggling for so many years, it is a happy time to watch my sons do exceptionally good work in films and spend time with my grandchildren. Both Zain and Misha are great fun to be with and it is a delight watching them grow."
On the work front, Ishaan will be next seen in the film, Pippa.
