On September 23, 2020, late Bollywood actor, Irrfan Khan's son, Babil Khan took to his Instagram handle and shared a beautiful picture of his brother, Ayaan Khan and his mother, Sutapa Sikdar. In the picture, Sutapa can be seen hugging her son with a sense of peace, as her eyes are closed. At the same time, Ayaan poses for the camera with a bright smile on his face. Along with this cute picture of his mother and brother, Babil penned down an emotional note for them. In his note, Babil stated that there's nothing left in his life worth living, other than his mother and brother. His teary-eyed note can be read as "You told me to take care of her, but it turned out that she took care of us. Mamma, that lighthouse in the storm, I hope I can give you the world to travel, and everything more that you desire, there is nothing left for me to live now but you and Ayaan." Take a look:
After the demise of Irrfan Khan, his son, Babil Khan is quite active on Instagram and never skips a day to share some insightful details about his father's life and philosophies. For instance, on August 30, 2020, Babil Khan had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a classy and cool picture of his friends posing alongside his dad from one of the award functions. In the picture, we could see Irrfan posing with the youngsters, and it had clearly shown that he was a cool father, who had shared a warm bond with his son and youngsters. Along with this picture, Babil had written a simple caption, and it could be read as "Reminiscing, Baba and homies." Take a look. Irrfan shared a warm and friendly relationship with his two sons, Babil and Ayaan. In a 2017 interview, the legendary actor had revealed how he had reacted on seeing a 'love bite' on his son, Babil's neck! The 'daddy cool' had revealed his reaction on his son, Babil's love life. He had said, "My kids are very open with me. When I saw a love mark on his neck and confronted him about it, he said, 'no it's not that, it is a rash.' I said to him, Beta congratulations. (laughs)." He had further emphasised on the importance of making kids comfortable with sharing everything with parents.
Irrfan had talked about discussing intimate topics with kids and had said, "Just tell them (kids) it is natural. If you are not curious about it, then there is something wrong with you. If you are curious and want to explore, please go ahead, and this is the way life is. This is the best gift nature has given to you. Explore it. Explore it in a way that you don't hurt anybody. But, find its potential." In Irrfan's opinion, two people getting together is a wonderful thing if it is not made into a commodity. Irrfan had also shared his experience from when he was a teen and had cited that he was never embarrassed to discuss such things with his mother.
