43-year-old influencer Igho Ubiribo, also known as Tiny, Denisi, and Ego, passed away in March 2026. Recently, the reason for his death has been revealed, and it sparked a widespread conversation. Igho Ubiribo, who was known for flaunting his wealth on social media, opted for a certain plastic surgery, and following it, the complications led to his death.

Yes! It was due to the cosmetic surgery that cost him his life. Igho Ubiribo was married and was on a trip to Bangkok with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, a fashion designer and socialite.

During the same trip, Igho 'Tiny' Ubiribo underwent cosmetic penile augmentation, and eventually, the complications that stemmed from the surgery caused his demise. Amid his death, another report recently claimed that Igho Ubiribo spent several thousand dollars on the surgery. Reports suggest that the surgery took place at an unnamed Bangkok clinic, where about 40 milliliters of filler was injected into Igho Ubiribo. Some reports, which are yet to be verified, also claimed that the surgery cost Igho USD 9,000.

During that time, Igho was staying at the Marriott hotel with his wife. E! News claimed that on the evening of the same day, Igho complained of chest pain and even fainted twice. Igho was rushed to the nearby Sukhumvit Hospital, where he was reportedly conscious at first and answered several questions that were being asked of him by the doctors.

His wife informed the doctors about the fillers; however, before the CT scan could be performed, Igho lost consciousness. He was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism, which means the blockage of a blood vessel in the lung.

Igho was put in the ICU, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation was also performed. However, he could not be saved and passed away back in March, 2026. Igho received hyaluronic acid and lidocaine at a Bangkok clinic during the surgery, and, as per the postmortem report, cellular material was found in Igho's lungs, which is connected to the hyaluronic acid. The Trumpet, a Nigerian newspaper, recently confirmed that Igho Ubiribo passed away from pulmonary embolism, which was caused by complications from the surgery.

Igho Ubiribo had lakhs of followers on social media and was known for his luxurious lifestyle. Igho would often give his followers glimpses of his lifestyle, including a USD 1.1 million property and a USD 600K-worth London apartment. The influencer married Danielle Simba Allen in 2022 in a luxurious wedding in Zimbabwe, with only 100 guests invited. His wife Allen's social media is filled with mushy glimpses of her with her husband. 

Following his passing, his followers have been left in shock and are offering their condolences to the grieving family. Some other photos also made the rounds on social media recently, which are from Igho's funeral. As shown in the photos that surfaced and according to reports, Igho was laid to rest in a gold coffin, which was reportedly worth USD 745K.
