The series begins with Alix collecting the last of her things from Braxton's Miami home after their breakup. As she ends their bond, she also reflects on what space the relationship had in her life and what went wrong between them. The influencer admits that Braxton was her first real love, and she had imagined spending a lifetime with him. In her words:
"Braxton and I were together for three years. He was the first actual, real love that I've ever experienced."
Yet, the feelings could not stop her from fearing that they might marry soon. It also stressed her, thinking that the NFL star might be ready to take that next step while she was just 25 and not ready for it. While the responsibilities of marriage loomed in her mind, she could not help but feel difficulty in maintaining a high-profile relationship. Alongside his high-pressure career in the the NFL, and her hectic schedule in the entertainment industry made them rethink the present and future of their relationship.
Alix revealed that their work kept them apart for long stretches, and she was unable to communicate with him and share her feelings constantly. Eventually, the same distance began to harm their relationship. Sharing how things turned out, she said:
"I'm only 25. I'm not ready for that yet. We were both busy with our careers and in a long-distance relationship at the time. We weren't talking as much. We were barely communicating."
Apart from communication, the influencer highlighted that the emotional and physical connection they once shared had begun to fade with him. As things went wrong behind the scenes, the couple became one of the most talked-about couples on the internet after making their relationship public in 2023.
In fact, Alix also used to share pictures of them from their journeys throughout his football season, events, and their joint decision to live together in Miami. However, at the end, the situation weighed them down, and they officially ended their relationship in 2025.
As Alix shared insights into her relationship with Braxton, the series also suggested that there were some unresolved emotions between them. One scene in particular showed her recalling an awkward interaction with Braxton after their breakup. Eventually, the season ended when Alix reached out to him and asked whether there was any chance they could reconcile.
