On August 5, 2026, just hours before her highly anticipated Madison Square Garden concert, the We Don't Talk singer revealed that her 5-year-old daughter, Mae James Bair had a medical emergency in the morning, just hours before her show.
Hilary shared that she spent her morning in the emergency room with her little one, and the singer's voice seemed to get heavy as she shared the details. She expressed disbelief that her kids were seated in the audience and were watching her perform live when just hours before, they were in the hospital. Hilary seemed overcome with emotions when she revealed that Mae had to get some stitches at the ER. Her exact words were:
"My kids are here tonight. I can't believe I get to show them this. We were in the ER this morning getting some stitches for my 5-year-old."
Hilary Duff made the revelation by pausing her Lucky Me tour act midway. She also updated the crowd about her daughter's current condition, stating that Mae was doing "fine".
