Hana Kuraki's untimely death has been hitting the headlines. While initial reports suggested that her death was due to suicide, authorities and her management agency have yet to confirm the official cause of her death.
An investigation into Hana Kuraki's death is currently underway. Reports claimed that it was Shota Taira who found Hana's body. Hana and Shota Taira were allegedly in a volatile relationship. However, Shota Taira shared a long post on social media following Hana's death and revealed being 'heartbroken'. He further denied being the one to find Hana's body and revealed that her friends first found her and then informed him of the same.
Hana Kuraki talked about 'headaches' in her last post
Following the ongoing investigation, Hana Kuraki's last post surfaced. The post was from September 5, 2026. Hana, in her last post, talked about the constant headaches she was getting. Reportedly, Hana was found dead on September 12, 2026, and her last post was from a week before that. She neither revealed anything more about her headaches nor did she provide any update about the same following that. She wrote:
"I've been getting headaches every day lately... Why is that?"
Some recent reports claimed that a note has been found that detailed Hana's abusive relationship with Shota Taira and the hard time she had to face in the months leading up to her death. It was back in June 2026 when Hana took to her X (Twitter) and announced that she would take a hiatus, citing face and jaw injuries that were claimed to have happened due to a traffic accident.
However, recent reports claimed that Shota Taira was involved in a hit-and-run case months before Hana's shocking death. Reportedly, Hana was trying to get into the car when Shota accelerated, and it eventually led to the adult content creator being injured as she was dragged down to the pavement.
Reports about Hana Kuraki and Shota Taira's alleged relationship
According to the reports, Shota Taira took to his social media handle and said he attended her funeral, while adding that her passing left him with a broken heart. Denying the claims that he was the one to find her body, Shota asked others to refrain from making any kind of speculative comment about the deceased. On the other hand, another report claimed that a note that was found featured Hana's claims about the dire situation she faced. According to the reports, Shota used a key and broke into Hana's home.
Not only that, but he also reportedly took valuables, and the incident happened in November 2025, after she allegedly tried to break up with him. Hana's friend, Sakito, also reportedly shared a post where she talked about the late star's distressed mental state due to her messy personal life. Reportedly, she saw no other way to come out of the abusive relationship, as Sakito, whose father reportedly even threatened him, knew her home address. To add, Shota reportedly was even arrested after he tried to break into her house.
