We love those stories which start from being on-screen couples to real-life jodis. And thanks to Indian television, there are many stars who found their true love on their respective shows. One such story is of Sanjivani (2002) actors, Gurdip Punjj and Arjun Punjj, who fell in love on the sets of their first show. They had a filmy start to their love story as Arjun fell in love at first sight with the gorgeous actress. However, for Gurdip their first meeting was an awkward one as they had just met and their first scene required her to hug him and cry. Arjun proposed marriage to her on June 28, 2006, and later that year in December they got married in a grand ceremony.
It is been over a decade of them living their 'happily ever after' and one look at their Instagram feeds and you will see their love as fresh as roses. Currently, the couple is vacationing in Goa with their kids, Meher and Mahir to celebrate Arjun's Arjun's birthday. On July 26, 2019, Gurdip took to her Instagram and shared a couple of pictures with him, and wrote, "Happy birthday my love, nothing compares to u. Love u till the end of the universe and back together creating our own sunshine forever and always #mybirthdayboy #myleoman@arjunjpunjj". Take a look at the pictures below:
Arjun also shared their vacation pictures on his Instagram handle. He posted a series of pictures with his wife and kids, Meher and Mahir. Along with it, he wrote, "Goa times. Super enthu.. @gurdippunjj." Check it out below:
For those who don't know, the famous Sanjivani is coming back on screen and Gurdip is again playing one of the doctors in it. In an interview with SpotboyE, the actress had opened up her role, and had shared, "I am feeling on top of the world, after all, it was my debut show. For me, it is like life taking a full circle and me restarting a new journey. I am of course very very excited. I had got to know about it long back that the makers are rebooting with a second season. So, I was waiting patiently. Initially, I was thinking if it will or it will not be made. Gurdip had also shared how Sanjivani holds a special place in her heart as she met her husband on that show, "I have got everything from Sanjivani. Even my husband Arjun, I have got him from the show. Not only that, my house, my family, my career everything belongs to that show. You can understand how special this show is for me in my reel and real life. "
In a throwback interview, Gurdip had talked about love marriages, and had shared, "Love should be arranged because I believe that marriage is not between two people but arrange is between two families.
