Govinda was the expression king of his generation, and he ruled in Bollywood like no other. From his smooth dance moves to his hilarious comedy shots, he is indeed the Hero No. 1 in Tinseltown. And his pairing with Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon was loved by many.
On the personal front, he had tied the knot with the woman of his dreams, Sunita Ahuja, in 1987. Together, they are proud parents to two beautiful kids, Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja. Recently, Govinda and Sunita stumbled upon the former’s doppelganger, and their similarities will leave you scratching your head.

On November 5, 2022, while scrolling through our IG feed, we got hold of a video, in which Govinda was seen getting off his car with his darling wife, Sunita Ahuja. In the next moment, a man, who was Govinda’s doppelganger, came to the actor to touch his feet. He claimed that he has been Govinda’s fan for a long time. While the actor looked handsome in an all-black ensemble, his twin donned a maroon pantsuit. In the meantime, Sunita was heard calling him a “Carbon copy.” Check out the video!

Earlier, in an interview with Simmi Grewal for her show, Rendezvous With Simi Garewal, Govinda and Sunita sat for a heartfelt conversation. During the candid conversation, Sunita recalled their romantic date night at the Taj hotel, where she had asked him to drink. She revealed that Govinda dialled his mother to seek permission for the same. In her words:
"And I rang mummy, ‘Mummy, piyu ki nahi piyu (mom, should I drink or not)’. Mom said, 'ajha tum pioge? Aadat to bahut buri hai. Tumhe enjoy karna hai, tum enjoy karo. (Oh, you will drink? It is a very bad habit. If you want to enjoy, so just enjoy)."

For the unversed, Govinda tied the knot for the second time with his wife, Sunita, on their 25th anniversary and made her feel special. Talking about his decision to marry again, the actor had bared his heart out in an old interview with Rajat Sharma. He had said:
"It was my mother's wish that I re-marry Sunita, only when I reach the age of 49. My mother had specified that Sunita and I can go through a sampoorna vivah (complete wedding) only after 25 years of our togetherness. So we had just gone through a formal Gandharva Vivah back in 1987. I completed 49 in December 2014 and in January we went through a full-fledged wedding."
