It was in 2018 when Kapil Sharma, like a phoenix, not only restarted her professional career with the launch of his show, The Kapil Sharma Show but on the personal front too, the year marked a new beginning for the comedian-actor. Five months into married life, Kapil’s wife, Ginni Chatrath was speculated to be pregnant and the lovebirds had kept the news a secret from the media and fans. It was in July when Kapil had confirmed the reports of Ginni’s pregnancy and finally, in December 2019, Kapil and Ginni had embraced parenthood for the first time with the arrival of a little angel. A month before Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath’s baby girl, Anayra Sharma turns one, the reports are rife that the couple might welcome their second child in January 2021. If a report by The Times of India is to be believed then Kapil and Ginni are soon going to welcome their second child and a source close to the couple revealed that the soon-to-be mommy is in her third trimester. On December 10, 2020, Anayra will celebrate her first birthday and going by the reports, the little one will be promoted to a ‘big sister’ in January 2021.
Earlier in November, the couples in India had celebrated the festival of Karwa Chauth, in which a married woman keeps a fast for the safety and longevity of her husband. The Kapil Sharma Show co-stars, Bharti Singh and Kapil Sharma had celebrated the day together with their respective spouses, Haarsh Limbachiyaa and Ginni Chatrath. Bharti had posted a LIVE Instagram video on her IG handle and in the video, we had gotten a glimpse of Ginni, hiding her baby bump with the dupatta. For the Karwa Chauth celebrations, Ginni had opted for a beautiful plain anarkali with a heavy dupatta. Ginni’s baby bump is visible in a small appearance that she had made in the video.
Diwali 2020 marked to be the first one for Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath’s daughter, Anayra Sharma. For the Diwali celebrations, Kapil had twinned with his mother in blue and Ginni had twinned with her baby girl in black. For one of the pictures, Ginni could be seen hiding her baby bump behind a chair as the family had posed for the camera. It was on December 10, 2019, when Kapil Sharma had announced the good news of his baby girl’s arrival and had tweeted, “Blessed to have a baby girl need ur blessings love u all jai mata di.” In April 2020, Kapil had celebrated Durga Ashtami with Anayra Sharma, and his baby girl was all smiles for the camera in a super-adorable pink and yellow lehenga. Anayra had looked like sunshine with a pink hairband, bindi, teeka, and bangles. Kapil had captioned the pictures as “Jai mata di #ashtami #kanjakpoojan #daddysgirl #anayra #daughter #3monthsold #gratitude.”
To mark Anayra Sharma’s first Daughter’s Day, Kapil Sharma had delighted his fans with adorable pictures of his baby girl and we couldn’t get over the overdose of her cuteness level. When Kapil Sharma had resumed the shoot for The Kapil Sharma Show post lockdown, his baby girl, Anayra Sharma had wondered why her dad doesn’t pick her up when he reaches home after work. Elaborating on the same, Kapil had said in an interview with Pinkvilla, “Ginni was the one to push me to resume the shoot. Usi ne toh bheja ki kaam dhandha karo sar kha gaye mera 4 mahine se. Honestly, I was confused if I should resume work, but she is the one who pushed me towards it. I agreed reluctantly knowing she is trusting me. Aur aaj nahi toh kal karna hi hai... aur agar kal bhi aise hi karna hai toh aaj kyun nahi? Everyone is fine. Anayra was looking at me when I reached home wondering why am I not picking her up. But I avoided it for some time as a safety precaution. Anayra looked at me and wondered why was I not holding her immediately after I returned from the shoot."
