Bollywood actress, Geeta Basra in her latest interview, talked about the things that had happened inside the labour room during her second delivery. The actress also talked about her husband, Harbhajan Singh's role in the labour room.
For the unversed, Geeta Basra had tied the knot with Indian cricketer, Harbhajan Singh in 2015. A year later, in 2016, the duo had embraced parenthood for the first time as they were blessed with a baby girl, Hinaya Heer. In March 2021, Geeta, Harbhajan and their daughter, Hinaya, had announced the actress' second pregnancy, and now, their wait of nine months has come to an end with the arrival of their second child.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Geeta Basra talked about her husband, Harbhajan Singh's presence in the labour room with her during her second pregnancy and the things he had done inside to support her. The delighted actress stated that her hubby was extremely supportive throughout her pregnancy. She said, "He has been amazing. He was very supportive throughout this pregnancy, he was there with me in labour too, held my hand and made sure he did everything."
Going further in her interview, Geeta Basra stated that because of Harbhajan Singh's presence inside the labour room, she was calm, and all she was doing was putting up her feet and relaxing. She added, "I didn't need to do much, just put up my feet and relax." However, not many people know the fact that Harbhajan was not completely present with his wife, during her first delivery in 2016. The reason behind it was his commitment to IPL (Indian Premier League)."

Recalling the same, Geeta Basra said, "He wasn't there in the first pregnancy a lot. He was playing Indian Premier League (IPL), I was in London then. I spent four months in India and then went for the delivery to London." However, at the end of her interview, Geeta ensured everyone by adding that Harbhajan wasn't completely absent during her first pregnancy. She added, "Bhajji was very much in and out. He came literally in July then, when my daughter Hinaaya (now four-and-a-half) was being delivered."
On July 10, 2021, Geeta and Harbhajan had welcomed their baby boy. Harbhajan had announced his son's arrival with a cute picture, on which a cute quote was written. Alongside it, he had expressed his gratitude, "Blessed with a baby boy. Shukar aa Tera maalka."
