Aryan Khan's bail plea had been rejected for the fourth time and now he is in the Arthur Road Jail. The Narcotics Control Bureau has alleged that Aryan is a regular consumer of drugs and procures them in large amounts. They have also claimed that he is part of an international union that deals with drugs. With all these charges, Aryan Khan has been in the custody of the NCB since October 3, 2021.
It is a tough time for his parents, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan and they are hopeful that he will return home before Diwali. Their family has been on the tenterhooks ever since all this has happened. According to a report published in India Today, the mood at Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, Mannat is tense and gloomy. Unlike every year, in this festive season, Mannat is sombre. However, if Aryan Khan gets bail and returns by the end of the week, Mannat might get fully lit up for Diwali.
Mothers are very soft-hearted and when it comes to their children, they are on their toes to make everything right. And same is the case with Aryan Khan’s mother, Gauri Khan. Just like any mother, Gauri Khan is very disturbed and upset with her son's arrest. The source was quoted as saying, "From her end, she’s doing all that she can, getting help from her friends and well-wishers. In all the calls made to her, her message has been the same — 'Please pray for my son'. Even though she’s not highly religious, Gauri has taken to praying day-in and day-out to seek help from the divine for Aryan’s release."
Though Gauri is not a religious lady, this year, she had observed fasts and kept a special mannat during Navratri. The same report mentioned that Gauri Khan has strictly instructed the staff not to make any sweets in the kitchen till her son, Aryan Khan gets bail. As per the portal, Gauri Khan had discovered one of the cooks making kheer for lunch and she immediately asked the person to stop it. Also, she ordered that no sweets will be made in the Mannat kitchen until her son Aryan is back home.
Shah Rukh Khan has also asked his friends not to visit Mannat as he does not want security issues and chaos. The superstar is keeping in touch with his co-stars and close friends over the phone, and is trying his best to put on a brave front for his family and be a pillar of strength for them.
The source told India Today that Shah Rukh is fully cooperating with the law in his son, Aryan’s drug case. He said, "He firmly believes in letting the law take its course and in all his conversations, he has maintained that he will cooperate in whatever way is required in Aryan’s hearing and inquiry. 'This too shall pass' is a line he’s often heard saying to his friends."
The NCB has alleged that Aryan had consumed and possessed drugs and was in touch with "some persons abroad who appear to be a part of an International Drug Network for illicit procurement of drugs.” Apart from Aryan Khan, five others, who were arrested, are Munmum Dhamecha, Arbaaz Merchant, Ismeet Singh, Nupur Sarika, Mohak Jaswal, Gomit Chopra and Vikrant Chhoker.
The next bail hearing will take place on October 20, 2021.
