The much-loved sci-fi show, From has returned with Season 4 and is generating a lot of buzz on social media. For the unversed, the fan-favourite show premiered on April 19, 2026, on the platform, MGM+. Later, the show will premiere on the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video for Indian audiences. Now that the first episode of the show has been released, read on to know if it is worth watching and what fans are saying about it.
The first episode of From Season 4 titled 'The Arrival' begins right from where the previous season ended. It is worth mentioning that there is no recap in the beginning, rather the show directly jumps into the chaos and horror that happens after 'Jim's' death. 'Jim' was killed by a Man in a Yellow Suit. The first episode also focuses on 'Julie', who seems to be connected with the dangerous man, who brutally murdered 'Jim'.

The best part of From Season 4 episode 1 is the Man in Yellow, who is played by the much-loved Hollywood actor, Douglas E. Hughes. In the episode, Douglas has less screen time; however, he manages to scare the audience with his disturbing dialogues and expressions. Another highlight of the episode is when he meets 'Juli'. It is worth noting that the way they talk to each other suggests that they have met before as well, which could be dangerous for the group of strangers who are trapped. As the episode moves forward, cinephiles also realise that the Man in Yellow might be the mastermind behind the town.

Apart from Man in Yellow and 'Juli', the first episode also focuses on other main characters like 'Boyd', 'Ethan' and more. After the episode ends, viewers realise that the priest, who first seemed normal, is not real. Instead, he is someone created by the Man in a Yellow Suit. This makes it clear that he can create anything and everything in the town. Further, cinephiles can also witness the vulnerable side of 'Boyd' as he starts losing control and also breaks down. Lastly, the episode proves that 'Ethan', despite being the youngest, is able to understand the situation more than anyone else.

Despite multiple plus points, the episode also has a few flaws. One of the major problems is the lack of communication between the characters. Even though the group of strangers stay together and have gone through multiple problems together, they hide information from each other, which makes it slightly unrealistic for the viewers. Apart from this, the episode also has moments where logic takes a backseat.
