First Look Of Kapil Sharma And Ginni Chatrath From Their Royal Delhi Wedding Reception

Wedding celebrations aren’t yet over for Television’s comedy king, Kapil Sharma and his beautiful wife, Ginni Chatrath. The comedian got married to his long-time girlfriend, Ginni and the lady brought him lots of luck as she entered his life. Kapil took to his Instagram account to share the first look of his royal bash. In the picture, the two were all dressed up radiated the newly-married charm. Kapil wore a blue bandhgala while Ginni complimented him as she wore a blue anarkali. Along with the beautiful picture, Kapil wrote, “Celebrations are unstoppable.. need ur blessings love #blessings #family #friends #delhi #reception #celebrations #gratitude @ginnichatrath”.  Take a look at the picture below:

The comedy king, Kapil Sharma broke many hearts when he bid goodbye to the small screen. The entire industry, friends, and fans were anxious to know what was wrong in the life of their favourite comedian who made them laugh so hard. However, fans were even more excited when Kapil got married to his lady-love, Ginni Chatrath on December 12, 2018. Not many know Kapil and Ginni were friends during their college days, and they came close when they participated in Star One’s show, Hans Baliye. Ginni stood like a rock when Kapil was going through a rough phase in life. And that is what made their relationship more strong. The comedian's wife is extremely close to her mom-in-law, Janak Rani and on January 13, 2019, she shared an adorable birthday wish along with a cute picture on her Instagram handle. Ginni captioned it as, “Happy birthday mumy V luv u sooo much...Stay Happy n Healthy always @kapilsharma.”

In an earlier interview with IANS, the Firangi star, Kapil talked about his wedding, “We wanted to keep it low key. But Ginni is the only daughter in her family. Her folks wanted the wedding to be on a lavish scale. And I completely understand their sentiments. My mother also wants the wedding to be lavish”. He had further added, “My mother has been saying that I should get married for a long time. Suddenly I realised that ‘abhi age ho rahi hai’ (I am getting on in age). In another interview, Kapil opened up about his love story and shared, “She studied in HMV College (Jalandhar). I was a scholarship holder, as I was a national winner in theatre. I was a student at APJ College and in order to make some pocket money, I started directing plays. I went to audition students at her college and that’s how we met in 2005.” Ginni then went to audition for a play and that’s where the two met for the first time. Kapil continued, “She was 19 then and I was 24. I was tired of taking auditions and explaining the role to the girls. Ginni was so good that I was quite impressed with her and told her to audition the girls for me. As we started the rehearsals, she started bringing food for me. Back then, I thought that she was doing it out of respect.”

While many don’t know that Ginni’s father had once rejected Kapil’s marriage proposal? Revealing about the incident, Kapil shared, “When I started earning well, my mother took my marriage proposal to her family, which got rejected. Inke papaji ne bade pyaar se bola, ‘Shut up’ (laughs!). Thereafter, I got busy with work, while she pursued MBA in finance.
