Bollywood actor, Farhan Akhtar and his girlfriend, Shibani Dandekar are all set to get married on February 21, 2022. The duo will have a court marriage. Farhan and Shibani have been painting the town red with their mushy social media PDAs. They are often spotted partying together and attending each other's family dinner nights.
For the unversed, Farhan was earlier married to Adhuna in the year 2000. After sixteen years of living together, they had parted ways in 2016. The ex-couple had parted ways on a happy note and had always wished each other the best. They are also co-parenting their daughters, Shakya and Akira. On the other hand, Shibani also shares a warm bond with Farhan's girls.

Recently, a report in Pinkvilla stated that Farhan will be celebrating his union with Shibani Dandekar, at his father, Javed Akhtar's Khandala farmhouse. He will be hosting an intimate gathering for his family and friends. A source close to the couple revealed:
"Farhan and Shibani always wanted an intimate wedding and are really excited about their big day. The party will be a small affair with only people from their inner circle in attendance. It will all be about food, music, laughter and celebration."
According to several media reports, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar will be registering their marriage on February 21, 2022, in Mumbai. A source close to the couple had said:
"Wedding was on cards for the two of them, as they have been in love for the longest time now. They have been discussing wedding plans for a while now and have finally decided to take things to the next level. On February 21, their relationship will take a new turn, as they will take the formal vows to be partners for life."

Earlier, in an interview with the Mid-Day, Shibani had talked about her relationship with Farhan. She had said that she is not secretive but doesn't like talking about the man she is dating out loud. She had also said that she didn't want to announce whom she is dating. She had said:
"I don't need to make an announcement about who I'm dating. It's up to me to decide when and what I want to share about my personal life and it is up to the audience to decide how they look at it. How much information I want to put out in the public domain is my prerogative.”
