Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are getting married finally! And with barely a day left now before they take the plunge, we can’t keep calm anymore. They met in 2016, speculations and conjectures started doing the rounds in 2017 post their appearance at Met Gala and finally, on August 18, 2018, they made it official with their roka ceremony, held in Mumbai.

As mentioned earlier, he belongs to the music industry just like his wife-to-be, Priyanka who is also a singer and has made her own loyal fan base in the West. Nick is only 26, and at the age of seven released his first single. He then went on to form a band along with his brothers, Joe and Kevin. Initially, this band failed to get recognition but in 2007, they released their breakthrough album and since then, there has been no looking back for Nick and his brothers.
Apart from his successful career in the music industry, one of the major events in Nick’s life was at the age of 13 when he was diagnosed with type A-diabetes. In fact, recently, on November 17, 2018, Nick opened up about the same on his official Instagram handle and wrote:
“13 years ago today I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The picture on the left is me a few weeks after my diagnosis. Barely 100 pounds after having lost so much weight from my blood sugar being so high before going to the doctor where I would find out I was diabetic. On the right is me now. Happy and healthy. Prioritizing my physical health, working out and eating healthy and keeping my blood sugar in check.”
His post could further be read as:
“I have full control of my day to day life with this disease, and I’m so grateful to my family and loved ones who have helped me every step of the way. After his struggles with diabetes, Nick founded an NGO called, 'Beyond Type 1' in 2015 to provide first-hand check-ups and medicines for people diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Nick met Priyanka for the first time in 2016, and that’s when they went out for dinner for the first time. A year later, in 2017, they were first snapped at Met Gala and ever since then, the two started dating. And rest as we know is history.
Nick’s father and Priyanka’s would-be-father-in-law, Paul Jonas is into real estate business. Recent reports were rife that his company has over 1 million dollars in debt, including a 268,000 dollars judgment from a case that his company lost. He shares a great camaraderie with his soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Priyanka. After Priyanka and Nick’s roka ceremony, he shared the above pic of the two and wrote on Instagram:
“So happy for the engagement of our son @nickjonas and we welcome @priyankachopra into our family with love and excitement.”

Paul Jonas’ wife and Nick’s mother, Denise Jonas lives in Texas, the United States along with her husband. She shares a very genuine camaraderie with her would-be-daughter-in-law, Priyanka. In her own words, she is blessed to have a daughter-in-law like PeeCee. Denise shared the following pic and adorably captioned it:
“So Blessed #daughterinlove.”
After the roka ceremony, Denise welcomed Priyanka into her family by writing on Instagram:

Nick Jonas has two brothers- Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas. The three, in their younger days, had a band by the name of ‘The Jonas Brothers.’ Even the Jonas brothers love and adore Priyanka, and it’s evident from their social media. Joe Jonas welcomed his bhabhi, Priyanka by writing on his Instagram:
“I couldn’t be happier for my brother. Welcome to the family @priyankachopra. We love you.”
