Bollywood actress and newbie mom, Esha Deol is on cloud nine ever since the arrival of her first child, Radhya Takhtani. Esha got married to Bharat Takhtani in June 2012, and they welcomed their little munchkin on October 20, 2017. Ever since the day Radhya was born, everyone was waiting to get the first official photo of her.
And now, finally, the wait is over as Esha Deol shared the first picture of her daughter, Radhya Takhtani. After months of teasing her fans with the glimpse of Radhya and sharing her little angel’s footprint, Esha finally shared the little munchkin’s photograph on her Instagram handle. Esha captioned the picture as, “Radhya Takhtani ... our darling daughter@bharattakhtani3 #radhyatakhtani”
Radhya is looking adorable as a doll, cute as a button, wearing a baby pink frock and a bow headband. Talking about her darling six-months-old daughter, Esha stated to Mumbai Mirror, “Radhya is a happy baby unless forced to do something she doesn’t want to do. She also revealed that first week after Radhya’s birth was a mess for her with all the baby crying and hordes of visitors stopping by to meet the little one. But now, with the strong support of her mother, Hema Malini and her sister, Ahana with a nurse, Esha gets to cherish the time she has with her daughter.
Reminiscing about the time when she was pregnant, Esha shared, “For three months, I kept my pregnancy a secret. When I finally told my mother she said she’d known all along, she was a mother too.” Elated grandmother, Hema Malini expressed her happiness by saying, “It’s such a beautiful feeling to become a grandmom again! I am very excited right now. Even Dharmendra ji is very happy. Hema ji further added, “I was equally excited when Darien (Ahana Deol's younger daughter) was born. But he has grown up so fast, and now goes to playschool. But I am scared to hold these babies, though I did it in my time. In the next few years, even Radhya will grow up and start going to school... how time flies! But I am happy seeing the way Esha and Bharat are handling things. They are so excited, almost as if they have a little new toy to play with.”
Speaking of Radhya’s resemblance and her bond with Esha, Bharat Takhtani was earlier quoted as saying, “It’s hard to express how happy I feel today! I think the baby looks like me and when she smiles, the world smiles at you. Esha and her bonding is divine.” Announcing their daughter’s name, Bharat informed, “We are very happy to announce that our daughter will be named as Radhya Takhtani.
