Elvish Yadav, who is a famous YouTuber, and rose to fame with his stint in the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 2, has landed in trouble. A video of the famous YouTuber, Elvish have been going viral, wherein he slapped a man at a restaurant in Jaipur, Rajasthan. For the unversed, Elvish often gets into heated arguments and his way of roasting people. Once, Elvish had called Kusha Kapila 'Sasti Kareena Kapoor', after which the content creator-turned-actress had blocked him.
On February 11, 2024, a video of Elvish made its way to the internet, wherein Elvish, in jest, slapped a man. In the clip, Elvish was coming out of a restaurant with his friends and guard, when he returned and gave a brutal slap to a man sitting at a table. When the man lashed back, Elvish returned to argue, but he was stopped by his friends and was escorted out of the restaurant.

The video went viral within no seconds, after which, Elvish released an audio statement defending his actions. He claimed that the man in the video was hurling abuses at him. He expressed that he had no interest in fighting with people and was minding his own business when someone from behind passed a comment. He was quoted as saying:
"Bhai, dekho, matter ye hai, naa mujhe shauk hai ladai karne ka, naa mere ko haath uthane ka shauk hai. Main apne kaam se kaam rakhta hoon. Main chalta hoon normal. Aur jo photo khichwane ko kehta hai, hum kichwate hai aaram se photo. Par, jo koi piche se comment pass karta hai, usko nahi bakshte (I am not interested in fighting nor slapping someone. I click photos with whoever asks but if you make a personal remark, I don’t spare them either."
Elvish added that there were police and commandos with him, and he had done nothing wrong. He stated that the comment was personal, and after which he slapped him. The BB OTT 2 winner further added that he has no regrets about it. He said in the video message:
"As you can see, there were police and commandos with us. It is not that we’ve done anything wrong. This was personal. He took a personal dig at me, I personally went and slapped him. I don’t have any regrets. Aisa hi hoon main (I am like this only). He hurled abuses and I reacted in my style."

Recently, Khusha Kapila reacted to Elvish Yadav's comment by calling her sasti Kareena Kapoor. In an interaction with The Lallantop, Kusha Kapila called it wrong for Elvish to compare her with Kareena, as he didn't get the Jab We Met actress' consent before it. Kusha can be quoted as saying:
"What does this mean? Kareena Kapoor has not consented for this, first ask her, she is the begum. How can you use her name anywhere? It’s wrong. Aapne meme nahi dekha, ‘Ye Elvish bhai ke aage koi nahi bol sakta.'"
