While fans are unable to stop shipping the duo, some are convinced there is tension between Belmont's girlfriend, Raina,, and his co-star, Ella. In turn, Raina said:

"Girl, I was like omg I hope TMZ doesn't notice."

Although Ella playfully replied "Dead" to the comment, Raina shared another Instagram story with the caption, "Leave my homegirl and me alone." In fact, Ella also publicly defended her in the comments, noting that they were "best friends." Still, fans could not stop speculating about the situation. They felt it was not an innocent incident.

Although Raina Morris and Ella Bright handled the unfollow incident with humor, fans began analyzing every detail. Many fans claimed that they did not believe the "accidental unfollow" explanation. Instead, they argued that the situation felt too suspicious to ignore. Other social media users commented that the behavior felt "messy" and "unnecessary". At the same time, another user claimed that Instagram isn't as easy as people make it seem. 

Other viewers pointed out that Raina's public posting about the situation may have increased the rumors rather than calming them. Some even felt that the alleged tension might impact the chemistry between the cast during the shoot of Off-Campus Season 2. One user said, "I saw as soon as I saw her say something about messaging her, people would ruin it. How hard is it to just not message someone?" Another user commented:
