Eliana Moreno was in the helicopter with George Marciniw on September 15, 2026, reporting a bus crash when suddenly the pilot lost control of the chopper. The video now circulating online shows the helicopter swaying and descending as it filmed the bus accident.
Eliana Moreno hadn't imagined this would be the last time she would get on the helicopter. However, minutes after she reported the bus crash, George Marciniw lost control of the aircraft, and the helicopter soon began to sway. In the final seconds recorded on the video, Eliana can be heard desperately asking George if he can pull the chopper up. The chilling video captures the aircraft violently shaking as she asks:

Eliana Moreno was known for her work as an aerial reporter and was a familiar face to viewers of the station and its Spanish-language sister station, Telemundo 52. She loved sharing the details of her job with her followers on social media and would often explain how things worked. In the last video posted on her page, she explained the conditions where aerial reporting was a better choice and even gave examples of situations like major accidents, wildfires, and more to demonstrate how it would help.
Eliana Moreno was in love with her job and enjoyed viewing the world from a different perspective. So much so that she even called her job "the best job in the world" during conversations. However, little did anyone know that her work would become the cause of her death. For those who don't know, Eliana was engaged to Robert Barrientos, and the couple planned on getting married soon.
However, that was not all; she was also working on her personal goals. For those who don't know, Eliana Moreno had a severe case of asthma. However, recently she had finished a half marathon, proving that anything could be achieved through dedication. She shared her experience on Instagram and revealed that she did something she never imagined she would be able to do.
She went on to elaborate on how she had bad asthma and was even medically excused from running in school. Eliana Moreno shared that her New Year's resolution was to run one mile. And in the first week of January 2026, she was able to do it, even though it was extremely painful. She penned:
"You see, I have always had bad asthma. I was even medically excused from running in school because it was guaranteed to send me into an asthma attack. The first week of January, I decided to start trying to run my one mile. I did it on my first try, and even though I felt like I was going to die, I felt like I could do more. This weekend, I ran the half-marathon at the @ocmarathon with my fiancé @rob3rt_z in under two hours! I surpassed everything I thought I could ever do, so let’s see what I do next!"
