Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia's breakup had left everyone in shock. The couple have been together for the past few years but parted ways on a sad note. While the ex-couple tried their best to keep the news of their breakup away from the media glares, the news of their separation spread like wildfire. However, some reports claimed that Eijaz had cheated on Pavitra. Now, a close source to Eijaz revealed the truth.
For those who don't know, Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia met during their stint on the reality show Bigg Boss 14. They started dating soon after that and got engaged in 2020. Pavitra confirmed her separation from Eijaz in December 2023. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, a source close to the couple revealed that Eijaz had not cheated on Pavita.
The source clearly stated that Eijaz was loyal to her and they were also living together. In fact, Eijaz is single at the moment and is not even ready to get into another relationship. He was quoted as saying:
"There have been some rumours about Khan cheating on Punia, and that becoming the reason behind the split. The insider dismisses the claims, saying, “He did not cheat on Punia. He was totally committed and loyal to her. They were living together as well. He had no other girl in his life at that moment, and that stays true till date. He is single at the moment, and is not even ready to get into another relationship."
Talking about the real reason of their breakup, the source revealed that they had several issues, and there came a point when they realised the issues could not be worked upon. That's when they decided to part ways.
In an interaction with ETimes TV, Pavitra first time talked about her relationship with Eijaz. While initially she resisted revealing details about her personal life and requested everyone to respect her privacy. However, she clarified that she is not focusing on marriage as she needs to take care of her family and build her career. Reacting to the rumours, Pavitra said:
"I really feel for my fans and I am connected with them. I really request everyone to be calm and composed and give us privacy. Please support me in whatever I am doing and support Eijaz also and let peace be there. Whatever happens, it happens for a reason. I am really keen and focussed towards my career right now. I’ve just lost my father, he was my biggest support."
Pavitra further stated that she has lost a lot as her father was her everything, and it is a very touchy topic for her. She further shared that when two people are in a relationship, they only know what happened between them and are often uncomfortable talking about it. Sharing the same, Pavitra said:
"This is all I can say, right now I am just focused on my career. I have lost a lot in life, the last thing I could have lost is my father. It is a very touchy topic. For me, no marriage right now, I just want to take care of my family. Jab do log ek rishte mein hote hain. They know what happened between them and they are not comfortable talking about it as we are educated and sensible enough to maintain privacy and respect for each other."
