Ajay Devgn and Kajol met each other on the sets of Hulchul (1995), which was their first film together. Eventually, the two became such close friends that Kajol started to take love advice from Ajay. But, as destiny had it, the soulmates ended up together and decided to tie the knot on February 24, 1999, in an intimate ceremony. Though the media had a verdict that the relationship between Kajol and Ajay would not last as the two share very different personalities, the lovebirds have stood firm despite all odds and have proved everyone wrong.
They are the perfect example of ‘opposites attract'. Even after completing 23 years of marital bliss, the duo never fails to keep the sparks flying in their relationship. Together, they have two beautiful kids, Nysa Devgan and Yug Devgan. Both Ajay and Kajol dote on their children and make sure to keep them grounded by teaching them good values in life.

Recently, Ajay Devgn and his co-star, Tabu graced The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their upcoming film, Drishyam 2. And a few hours ago, the makers of Sony TV uploaded a fun-filled promo video on their IG feed. In the clip, we can spot Kapil and Ajay playing a memory game together. When Ajay Devgn asked Kapil what happened on December 12, he replied, “Subah hui thi, dopahar hui thi, fir raat thi.” Then the actor reminded him that he also got married on the same day. However, in the next segment, Kapil is seen pulling Ajay’s leg as he asked what happened on February 24. And Ajay’s hilarious take on marriages left Tabu in splits. He said:
“Main satsang kar raha tha. Ek hi baat hai, shaadi ke baad har aadmi satsang hi karta hai.”

Earlier, in an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Ajay Devgn had opened up about his marriage with his wife, Kajol. When he was asked why he chose to marry Kajol, the doting hubby had revealed that when they met for the first time, they gelled really well. Then, adding that it all happened with the flow, Ajay had mentioned:
“I really don’t know..we met, we got along very well. We started seeing each other without even proposing and then it was taken for granted that we will get married…Our thoughts are similar, our models seem to gel together. So, it just went in a flow.”

Further, in the same interview, Ajay had added that ups and downs are a part of every marriage, and every couple has disagreements. Talking about how he and his wife, Kajol used to resolve their conflicts and manage disputes, Ajay said that they discuss their thoughts with one another. In his words:
“But you have to manage those disagreements…Two minds can’t be alike but then we discuss and that how it works.”
On the work front, Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s film, Drishyam 2 will be released on November 18, 2022.
