Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya was recently snapped at Baba Siddique’s Iftar party where many big names graced the occasion. Divyanka had opted for ethnic wear and self-admittedly wanted to wear something that resembles #BhaartiyaNaari. She shared the following pictures from the same on her Instagram handle and captioned them as, “Whatever I wear, wherever I go, you can't pull the #Bhaartiya out of me. #BhaartiyaNaari.”
Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya was recently rumoured to be pregnant after some user edited her photo where her fans could spot a fake baby bump. Commenting on her pregnancy reports, Divyanka was quoted as saying in an interview, "The person who has edited that picture is very talented. He actually edited my picture in such a way that my stomach looked super large. I don't know who was behind it." Hubby, Vivek Dahiya had also laughed off the same by saying, "That's not an edit. It's the truth. We have removed it and kept it aside now. It is detachable. Whenever we feel like it, we attach a pillow on our stomach and go about our day. Then remove it as and when we like." Vivek, in an earlier interview, had shared that he and Divyanka aren’t planning a family anytime soon. Adding that many milestones need to be achieved before that, he had said, “These are just rumours. We’re not planning a family already. There are a lot of milestones that need to be achieved. We just want to be ready, I don’t think we’re ready right now. The news came out that Divyanka was part of the Forbes list (2017 Forbes India Celebrity 100) and we were really happy about it. We aim to go higher. So, there’s a lot of motivation to keep pushing ourselves forward and achieve more. There’s a lot on our plate. I have things planned for myself career-wise.”
Talking about their love story and how they had met, Vivek Dahiya was once quoted as saying, “When a co-actor suggested that Divyanka and I should meet as both of us were single, my first reaction was 'What!' I had never thought of having an arranged marriage because I feel in today's times you need to take your time, know a person and not rush into it. But he insisted that we at least go for a coffee and we did. We had met with the perspective of seeing others as a life partner and in the first meeting itself, I was largely convinced that she is the one for me. But I decided not to be hasty about it.”
Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya has been quite vocal about her marriage and ardently believes in the institution of marriage. She had shared with an online tabloid, “Any woman would be happy when she is taken care of and pampered by her husband. The same applies to me. Ever since I got married, I have been in a blissful state. I recommend marriage to everyone. People say, “Shaadi ka ladoo khao toh pachtao, naa kaho toh pachtao (You regret getting married, and regret not getting married).” But I don’t understand why people regret either. All one has to do is find an eligible partner. And if you have enough patience, and if you are understanding and can adjust a little bit, life can be beautiful after marriage.
