Power couple, Divyanka and Vivek entered the bond of holy matrimony on July 8, 2016. It’s been two years already and with each passing day and every new social media post, the couple seems to be falling more and more in love with each other. On the occasion of their two-year wedding anniversary, the couple has taken some days off to spend their second anniversary together in Maldives. And their pictures? We drool!
The doting wifey took to Instagram to share a beautiful picture of the duo and posted a heartfelt message for hubby Vivek on their anniversary. She wrote, “My idea of most romantic date was always 'a candle lit dinner by the sea waves'. After experiencing it for the first time today I realised, what makes a grand idea actually work is your company and the moments shared together, rest all is just photo friendly. What you can't see in a picture. The feelings exchanged, hands held, moments of silence between nonstop talk, impromptu grooving on make-shift music. That makes a 'real date'. Vivek, too, posted two beautiful pictures from his vacay. But what was the most adorable were the captions that he wrote for Divyanka. Speaking of their marriage, Divyanka had earlier shared in an interview, “Any marriage doesn’t run on its own. It needs constant polishing for smooth functioning. So, I keep my partner and my family aware that they are my priority. My mind is constantly scheduling and re-scheduling things according to my shoot and my spouse. I plan in advance for holidays so that we all get to spend quality time together. The doting hubby also spoke about if marriage has changed his life. Vivek shared, “I am the same guy. I am living more free-spiritedly. She is such a supportive partner. She let’s me be me. At the same time, I have become more responsible towards life and my family. Divyanka is a motivator and I feel blessed to have someone like her as my partner”.
Fondly called ‘Divek’ by their fans, the couple met on the sets on Star Plus’s megahit show, Yeh Hain Mohabbatein. Rumours had it that the duo had been seeing each other since then, but the couple has time and again shared that it was an arranged marriage as the duo were just meeting and not dating.
