In particular, her past relationship with Pardison Fontaine made headlines, with a few internet users claiming she had exhibited similar behaviour in the past. Megan Thee Stallion also faced backlash after publicly addressing her breakup with Klay Thompson. She accused him of infidelity and lack of commitment to a 'monogamous' relationship. While some internet users extended their sympathy and anger over the post, a few were quick to point out that Megan herself has faced cheating allegations in the past. Those internet users reposted clips from her old interviews after her breakup with Pardison Fontaine in 2023, song lyrics and statements to support their claims. 

One viral post claimed that people are ignoring Megan's dating history while attacking Klay. Another internet user argued that "Karma works both ways", hinting that her current heartbreak is related to accusations against her in the past. Meanwhile, the internet remains divided over the old accusations today. Megan's supporters argue that despite her past issues in relationships, it is not connected to her pain now. However, some people insisted that her dating history with Pardi is relevant because he specifically released a diss track accusing Megan of texting other men before their breakup.

Megan Thee Stallion and Pardison Fontaine first went public with their relationship in early 2021. They had been making music together for months, raising speculations, which turned out to be true. In fact, he co-wrote some of the rapper's biggest songs, and they quickly became one of the most-talked-about couples in the Hip-hop world. Pardison publicly supported Megan, especially during her legal battle with Torey Lanez, and they made several joint appearances at award shows.

She shared an Instagram story in which she mentioned how he made her feel their relationship was fierce by introducing her to his family, and she supported him through ups and downs in Basketball. Still, in turn, he admitted he was unsure about monogamy. Meanwhile, Klay has not responded publicly to the allegations until now. In her words:

"Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got 'cold feet.' Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season, now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous'????"
