On May 2, 2026, an X user named Snow White shared a video clip of Selena Gomez from her Instagram live and claimed that the Who Says singer admitted that Justin Bieber reached out to her when he was facing problems in his marriage with Hailey Bieber. A part of the note could be read as:

"Selena Gomez has taken to IG live to address the recent controversy in her marriage. She stated that despite having issues she’s still married to Benny Blanco. She debunked all the rumors that she cheated on Benny with her ex Justin Bieber.  She said Justin tried to contact her when he was having a difficult time with his wife Hailey but she completely shut him out."

Further, the X user also claimed that Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are expecting their first child. The post instantly went viral and fans started congratulating the couple. One fan commented, "Congratulations my girl, can’t wait to see the mom version of Selena." Another user penned, "I love her but why’s she lying Justin contacted her when he was having issues in his marriage." A third fan wrote, "Not surprised she shut Bieber out. Regardless, congrats on her baby."

The truth behind the viral X post

It is worth mentioning that even though the X post is grabbing a lot of attention, there is no truth in it. During the Instagram live, Selena Gomez did not say anything about her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber. Neither did she announce her pregnancy with her husband, Benny Blanco. The claims made in the X post were completely false and there is no confirmation on the same by the couple.
