Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s love story is nothing less than a fairytale. Cupid had struck the two when they were playing lead roles in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram – Leela. Ranveer and Deepika’s on-screen chemistry was so mesmerising that fans were certain that the two were head-over-heels in love with each other.
Ranveer and Deepika began their forever journey on November 14-15, 2018, by taking their wedding vows as per Konkani and Sindhi style. Deepika, who is a very private person, rarely talks about her relationship with her hubby. However, once, the diva talked about the moment when she realised that Ranveer was special to her.

In an interview with Jitesh Pillai, when Deepika was asked about the first time she felt Ranveer was special, the gorgeous actress answered:
“I was at YashRaj and he was there and he was flirting like it’s nobody’s business and he was dating somebody else at this point and I was smiling to myself and told him, ‘You are flirting with me. And he said no, I am not flirting."
As soon as the video was shared on Reddit, many social media users reacted to Deepika’s statement. One of the users wrote, “And couple goals they became.” Another commented, “Ahhh now I get why Anushka hates Deepika lol. Makes sense. No wonder KJO mentioned on his show that Anushka is not her friend and doesn’t like her. TBH Anushka is totally justified feeling the way she does- Ranveer cheapo even flirted with her when they came together on KJo’s show when she was dating Virat.”

For the unversed, Ranveer was dating actress, Anushka Sharma for around two years. They came close to each other while shooting for their films, Band Baaja Baraat and Ladies vs Ricky Behl. After their split, the duo remained cordial and even worked together in Zoya Akhtar's film, Dil Dhadakne Do, which was released in 2015.
Ranveer and Deepika’s love story began on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram – Leela. In a throwback interview with Huffington Post, a crew member from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela shared how the love story of Deepika and Ranveer had started. Talking about the same, the crew member said:
"It was new love- euphoric and maddening. They'd call each other baby, eat together, and disappear into their vanity vans when not shooting."
There have often been rumours about trouble in Ranveer and Deepika’s paradise, but the couple always proved everyone wrong with their mushy PDAs and camaraderie.
